Our family has been associated with the construction industry in West Michigan since 1897 through a variety of residential and commercial projects. With one project and a pocket full of dreams, the company was built. JWK Construction, Inc. kept busy through their first year and began to build a team of qualified employees.
Since then, JWK Construction, Inc. has averaged over 30 projects per year. During the busiest years, the company ran up to 50 jobs with the help of 45 employees - quite a feat. JWK Construction, Inc. continued growing steadily in size, but more importantly - reputation. Both Mark and Steve strongly believed in offering their clients the personal one-on-one care that is necessary in order to successfully complete any project.
This is what set them apart from the rest. Jason Meyers and Matt Wierenga joined Steve Karsten as principal owners - Mark Meyers having retired. Jason and Matt are the son and son-in-law, respectively, of one of the Founding Partners - Mark Meyers.
