I have used SS&B a few times and it has always been a pleasant experience. Recently, my furnace was having issues. At first, the techs attempted what we all hoped would be a simple repair to take care of the issue but they were very honest in that it wasn't a guarantee. I appreciated that honesty and was willing to try the small, inexpensive repair first even knowing it was just a fix so we could see if there was a bigger issue. A few weeks later, my furnace was not satisfied with the small fix and I called on a Sunday to ask for an appointment. I was called the next morning and Ryan D. was out

Just had SS& B install a replacement home HVAC system - Trane. Installation went extremely smooth. Installers, Danny and Jason were professional, courteous and obviously well trained. Very pleased with the job they did. Would definitely recommend this fine company. Great experience from the estimator, Brad Searcy thru the install process.

We called SS&B to come take a look at our heating systems since neither one was working, surprisingly they had availability the same day. They sent Ryan out to take a look at our systems and after checking over our main unit he informed us that it was a electrical issue. Ryan was upfront about everything throughout the process. We are happy that we called SS&B.

We have been with S S & B for 40 years, before and after a house burned from a direct hit of lightening. This week our equipment was serviced by Jesse, our best technician ever! Jesse was thorough and explained what he had done during our six month check up and possible problems in the future. We have referred a relative who is a Navy Commander to SS&B and suggested they ask for Jesse.

Heard great things about these guys for residential services. Contacted them for my business heating issues and boy oh boy was that the wrong choice!
The tech- Jesse, asked me loads of questions about my until and I had to keep telling him, "you are the expert, not me." In the end, he installed a part that was not, nor could be, supported by electricity, telling me I needed an electrician to come out to "pull wires" to support the installed part.
The electrician came a business day later and was baffled from the start. He soon drifted to mocking the tech and company for their work and assessment

Working with SS&B was a breeze from start to finish. Thomas was quickly able to diagnose an issue with our old furnace and was upfront and honest about our options. Brad was very prompt and thorough in getting us an estimate with multiple options. Lastly, Denny and Levi were great on the install, working very diligently and answering any questions I had. They left the place spotless and our new system works great. If you are looking for a fair, transparent, and honest HVAC company in the Springfield area I cannot recommend SS&B enough.

I have to say I am incredibly impressed with this company. I had not used them previously and reached out to them based on their other reviews. It is hard to find any contractor who is on time for appointments, does the work they say they will AND provides great customer service. SS&B were all of that. Each person I was in contact with in process was hospitable and knowledgeable. They delivered what the promised at the time and price they committed to. No doubt 5 STARS!

I called SS&B needing some repair work done. They sent Ryan to my house, and I'm so glad they did. The guy is a straight shooter and will be honest with you about what is going on. He did the diagnostic and called Ms. Kate at the office. (She must be from heaven.) She got the info from Ryan, worked her magic and gave me a more than fair price for what needed to be done. They are professional and personal. I will use them again in the future for whatever may come up.

We had SS&B install central heat and AC in our old home (100+ years). We only had cast iron radiators and no cooling prior to this. Everyone we met or worked with here was awesome, especially our installation guys, Denny & Levi; Brad was wonderful too. They showed up on-time, every time and did exactly what they said they would. They handled questions and concerns professionally and we don't think we could have found a better fit for the job. We'll be customers as long as we live in this house and we're so glad we chose them.
