Comfort Zone, based in Sunland, is the most reliable, friendly, and cost effective heating company I have ever used for my Hancock Park home. They are amazingly responsive, even in the Covid era, and super easy to talk to in order to understand your heater/heating issues. They work to solve your heating requirements and don't stop until everything is in perfect working order. I could not recommend them more highly!! David

My A/C went out on one of the hottest days of the year ( the sunday of Memorial Day Weekend ). I knew I was screwed because it was a holiday and didnt even bother to contact my home warranty company because I knew they wouldnt send someone until after the holiday weekend . I would of melted by that time . I reached out on yelp to everyone in the area and Comfort Zone responded first and scheduled me for the next day ( Memorial Day ! ) . Kevin came and did a great job and the air was back on later that day . Not even 24hrs later after it broke !

Our A/C stopped working, and Kevin came the very next day to fix it for us. He was professional, kind, courteous, and did a wonderful job. He was great with our dog and he was so sweet with our 3 and a half year old son that kept demanding his attention. :) He showed my husband a bunch of tips.

This is such a great family owned business. Kevin is super knowledgeable and helpful with everything. Our house was built in the 40's and Kevin would come out to tune up our old furnace. Recently we made the decision to upgrade to central ac and heating and there is no one else we would want to call for such a big job. Everyone was very nice and professional. The upgrade couldn't have come at a better time. We are very happy with the level of work that was done on our home. Would highly recommend them for any HVAC work you might need.

The sound of my unit working again was like music to my ears. Kevin explained the issue to me and helped me as a first time home owner understand the unit and its operation. Comfort Zone Heating & Air Conditioning in Sunland, CA replaced our HVAC system and even rebuilt the cabinet after we had mold removed. They did a great job and we appreciated their efficient service. The installers were top notch and we appreciated their expertise. We were happy to have them in our home. Our heater is working beautifully!

Make sure you call the correct COMFORT ZONE
(Sunland CA 323-461-0871) this is a strong family business with great customer service and skills. They installed our rooftop HVAC and new ductwork in 2010 & they come out for regular maintenance checks...and replaced a failed ignitor this year after heat stalled for a couple nights. I highly recommend them. They are always prompt with appointments.

I have been using Comfort Zone for over twenty years. The first time was the replacement of the air conditioner compressor about 25 years ago. About 15 years ago at another property installed a new gas furnace and air conditioner. A couple of days ago my heater was not working properly. The technician found some major parts of the heating unit failing. He was able to schedule an installation the next day. The installers arrived in the morning and completed the installation in a few hours. The installers checked the heating and air conditioning after completing the installation. Comfort Zone

I am shocked by the other people's ratings of this company. REALLY! I ended up recording phone conversations from Comfort Zone because they changed their story constantly and the Home Coverage Plan we had aways told us a different story then the one told by Comfort Zone Heating and Air. Thoroughly disappointed in the time it took to complete the work.
Think TWICE before using them. Get a second opinion- we tried to end our contract with Comfort Zone and SHOULD have done so at ALL costs! I am shocked by the positive ratings of this company. Dial another company as fast as your fingers

So far I've been very happy with Comfort Air and Heating. Kevin was very professional, thorough and was able to diagnose a problem that I didn't even know existed. The company that installed my AC did not seal the back of the furnace and a lot of air was leaking out. Kevin showed it to me and then recommended that I call the original company to see if they'd fix it for free. He didn't try to upsell me and I was impressed that he noticed it. I's recommend this company!

I first heard of this company about 4 years ago when my landlord hired them to install heaters in all the units. I call on them for all my AC and heating services. The employees are professional and friendly. They're affordable and quick. They really know what they're doing. I've recommended them to my friends and family.

Kevin and Comfort Zone are great -- best A/C guy I have ever worked with. He is honest, reliable and has fair prices. He has done work on two of my properties over the last 6 years and I have had nothing but positive experiences with him and his technicians. I have referred him to many people who have also been very happy with him.
Kevin also stands by his work -- he came back to adjust my dual zone system to make sure all was working when I had some issues.

Absolutely stinking awful. They may have their good moments as attested to by some of the reviews but the experience I had at their hands actually had me almost calling the police (nothing I have EVER had to think about with any other company ever!).
If the quality of the work depends on whomever you get on the phone, then it's not worth taking your chances with these idiots. The 2 technicians who came out were polite and seemed to know what they were talking about (well, the one who spoke English did). They removed my broken blower motor (and the huge casing it sits in) from my premises
