Services
The Premier Heating and Air Conditioning Service in Stockton, California - McLaughlin Air Conditioning Co. McLaughlin Air Conditioning Co. is not your average HVAC Service and Repair Company. In fact, we're far from it! We have been serving our fellow Stockton residents, as well as the rest of San Joaquin County, Calaveras County, Amador County, and the Bay Area for over 60 years!
As one of the most important investments and pieces of equipment in your home, it pays to keep track of just how efficiently and effectively your warm air oil or natural gas furnace is running. You need to know when to replace it before it costs you more in repairs than a new purchase or if it becomes unsafe.
Why pay to cool and heat your home all year long when you only live in a few rooms at a time? With a mini-split heat pump, you can actively condition the rooms that are occupied and turn the systems off in the other rooms. This allows you to save energy while maximizing your personal comfort. McLaughlin's is a Diamond dealer with Mitsubishi Electric, our personal favorite for these systems.
These units offer heating and air conditioning. There are same sizes available as traditional cooling only units. These are perfect for an added space in your home or a cold room that needs heat. If you're looking to just heat and cool one room, this is a great way to do it. The units manufactured today are a lot more efficient and much quieter.

These guys saved me from a furnace replacement recommendation from "All In Heating & Air" which is a shell company for Salyer's in Sacramento area.
Totally straight shooters and they got me back up & running with a minor repair. They also swapped out my thermostat. Thank you so much McLaughlin!!! Please don't go anywhere, my family depends on it!

I work in a business in Lodi, CA. All of a sudden, our unit went out. We were informed we needed a new one. Not only did McLaughlin come in with a lower quote, but they replaced the unit sooner than expected and just before this next heat wave! Thank you McLaughlin!!!

I am taking the time to write this review because I experienced horrible customer service from service rep "Misty." I do not appreciate how Misty communicated to my mother and including myself. As a customer preparing to install an HVAC unit by this company, I find it hard to believe how disrespectful she was to the both of us, and could not provide answers to our concerns upfront, or simply provide answers with a callback. I was disheartened by how she approached this matter and communicated to me as if I was an idiot. Yes, I do not know much or anything at all about A/C units, that

I have to say, McLaughlin goes above and beyond. My 89 year old grandma, who lives alone, had the battery die in her thermostat on Tuesday. She was afraid that the AC was just constantly running. She was freezing. When she called, the receptionist told her the earliest a technician could come out to help was that Thursday. After explaining her situation to the receptionist, that the receptionist went above and beyond. The receptionist drove to my grandma's house, came inside with a mask, and changed the battery in the thermostat. She then asked my grandma what temp to set the AC at. I&apos

Terrible customer service beginning with the receptionist who answers phones and sets appointments-she is rude and unprofessional. After having vast temperature differences in areas of our home, I called to make an appointment for a cool check and request to check that all ducts were connected properly. The repairman who arrived was at my home for 15 minutes, later found out he did not perform a cool check and I did not receive a satisfactory answer of why varying temperatures- his attitude and demeanor screamed that he did not want to be here. This is a company which my husband and I have used

This company is by far the worst company of any kind. Whoever the lady is that answers there phone, I recommend she find another job. Scheduled a appointment for a Wednesday and they ended up canceling. Told us they would come by on Thursday between 1-4. Technician never showed up and called again to get a status and same lady responded, " listen we're busy and it's hot, your on the list ok" and hung up. They never showed again. 3rd appointment was set for today, again, no show. Don't expect this company to be in business much longer. What a joke.

Horrible service. Let me start off saying that McLaughlin was a family go to provider. However, after scheduling a repair with them, taking time off work to accommodate the technician, they (Misty) cancelled the appointment without telling me. I found out when I called a second time that day at 4:50pm. To further complicate the situation, they transferred me to Dave, the parts guy. He apologized for not contacting me sooner because he was "so busy". He had two weeks to call me. He also recommended to replace a $6k AC unit they installed 7 years ago. Pass!!

Best A/C company in Stockton. I called them on a Monday after my a/c went out and they scheduled for later that day. It was getting close to the time when they had to show up and the office called and said they where running behind but would get it fixed but might be a little later I said fine. A little while later the office called and told me who was coming and what he looked like. They had it fixed in no time and the entire team was professional from start to finish. You need a/c or heating you should call them asap

Their technician Chris was polite, on time, professional, and diagnosed the issue with my AC quickly. Turned out to be a bad capacitor which is a $40 part. Chris was onsite for 30 minutes making the diagnosis and repair. The bill ended up being $220. Taking out the cost of the part, that leaves $180 for a half hour of labor. When I called the next day to speak with someone about the nearly $400 per hour labor charge the lady was argumentative and told me it couldn't be $400 per hour when my bill was only $220. When I pointed out that the technician was there for only 30 minutes she asked me not

We bought our house about a year ago and I'm not sure when the AC was last serviced/checked. I asked a trusted friend who is also in property management for a recommendation and without hesitation he recommended McLaughlin.
The appointment was about a week out. Their tech was on time, professional, knowledgable, and friendly. He took about 30-mintues and checked the furnace, blower, outside unit, and thermostat. He checked all of the vents and their temperatures to make sure the air flow and temp was proper. Every question I had was answered and explained.

McLaughlin's is prompt, professional, courteous and helpful. I have used this co. 2x's a year for A/C service before summer heat & to service heater before winter cold for years. Always been pleased with service and price. Cal was a big help to me 2-3 yrs ago and very recently Misty has made an extra effort to see to my needs . (I'm in a new home and previous HVAC co. hired by seller left me with no heat when called back to address a repair they did not complete correctly)
