Great, friendly service. The technician came promptly to remedy the reason for no heat from the downstairs system......a tripped circuit breaker. The technician patiently showed me how to manage the old and tricky breaker. My questions were answered thoroughly. The whole system was checked. No charge. The system was under warranty.

I had a very sophisticated multi zone system for each level of my house. Tim did a room by room load test and we ultimately installed a two zone , two stage system for each floor. The systems operate flawless and our comfort level has never been better. I cannot say enough about Tim and his crew. They were extremely knowledgeable, paid attention to the smallest detail. Tim treats his customers like members of his family and will not sell oversized or up-sell equipment. I gave Southern Comfort the job because of the quality of Tim’s answers to my many questions

Southern Comfort and Tim DeStasio provide amazing customer service. Not only are they highly skilled professionals, they are also willing to go above and beyond to support their customers. We just hired them to convert our existing gas furnace from propane to newly available natural gas. This morning, Memorial Day, we smelled gas....my first instinct was to call Tim! Tim and his team have been professional and thorough with our heating and cooling needs over the past few years. We had both top and bottom units replaced with Tim's crew and are very happy with the install and continuing maintenance and service on our systems. Tim and Aaron are knowledgeable, thorough, and have the mindset of making your existing equipment run at its best for as long as possible. Then, when the time comes to replace that equipment, they analyze your homes thermal envelope and recommend the best equipment for you. They are honest, fair and most importantly I TRUST them. I use them personally and, as a local real estate agent, have referred them to numerous clients. I wouldn’t do so if I weren’t positive that they would take great care of my clients and treat them right which they do! They really know their HVAC!

Tim does great work and has great guys working for him. I recommend Southern Comfort Consulting and Service to our customers constantly because I know they will always do honest work and will not sell my customers things they don't need. They understand energy efficiency and comfort is more than just selling you a bigger system.
They service my own heat pumps and will be replacing one of them soon. You can always find someone who will do work for you for less, but it will cost you in the end.

UPDATE: Tim seems to think I'm a fake person. My name is Mary Schultz. I live in Philadelphia during the summer, but I own property in North Carolina and Florida. Tim and his team have done a lot of work in our house, including installing all new ductwork and mini-split systems that connect multiple rooms. As I understand it, this work was quite difficult. Tim and his team handled it expertly. I trust Southern Comfort completely. They do great work; when our older HVAC systems have had issues, they are easy to reach and respond quickly. I recommend them highly.
