Gene Hurt and his associate did an excellent job listening, and working together with me on diagnosing the source of my issue. Upon identifying the problem area, they were able to quickly use their tools/machines to unclog my drain which a prior company was unable to do.
He was also empathetic to my situation as I had recently lost a loved one, so even just acknowledging that in genuine caring way in a very stressful time went along way with me.
would highly recommend him and his associate to anyone else.

Joseph performed an inspection on my plumbing system. He was very polite and professional. He explained to me in detail everything that he did and patiently answered additional questions that I had. I apologized to him for "looking over his shoulder" during the inspection but he said that he didn't mind at all and that it actually helped because he was able to ask questions to me to help with the inspection. He gave me some very good pointers on products that are harmful to my pipes and recommended better options. Joseph also gave me tips on how to properly adjust toilet tank water levels. I really

What a wonderful and delightful company and service! Wow! From the first calls and scheduling to the actual HVAC maintenance - I am so pleased! Why haven't I used them before? Mr. Riley was polite, friendly, and he took his time checking out my system! It wasn't a "routine 30 minute in-out job". And he also told me about other services and left a brochure.
He left me trusting the company with my whole house repair and maintenance needs. I'm staying with them!!

I am not a review type person but my call experience just made my day! I called first thing this morning for a service appointment and spoke to Desiree. She was the best! Her voice is cheerful and professional. She seemed happy to be of service and I really REALLY appreciate her can do attitude! It is easy to “just do the job” but her attitude spoke volumes! Woodfin just finished replacing our HVAC and installing a mini-split in our addition. Both times the Woodfin guys were friendly, knowledgeable and went above and beyond. Taylor led the HVAC replacement and took time to answer my questions and explain to me how everything worked. He even drove back after completing the work to ease some fears I was having about my gas furnace I had never used before. I can't remember the name of the man who led the mini-split install today but he was also great and removed an old heat source from the brick wall in our addition. Would highly recommend Woodfin

We have been using Wood fin for our primary heating contractor for over 40 years. They perform our annual furnace service. This year we noticed that a pressure relief valve was leaking and had the service tech look at it when he was out for our annual, he stated that we needed a new expansion tank as it was causing the pressure relief valve to drip. They gave us a estimate for the work which was over $500.00 to replace a $135.00 expansion tank. I know materials are high right now and supply is sometimes limited, but seriously, this was ridiculous. I will be writing Woodfin a letter to let them

Hunter came out to the property to inspect the furnace and after 30 minutes he said the whole entire furnace needs to be replace and I would only have to pay for labor, which was over 1,500.00. I could tell the young man did not know what he was talking about. So, I had another company come out...White Glove Plumbing - Heating & Air and Nick inspected the furnace and simply said what piece needs to be replaced which cost me less than 200.00 for everything...my heat works perfectly, thanks to Nick.

Woodfin theoretically serviced our AC units for two separate cooling systems in 2017 & 2018. The units were installed in 2015 & 2016. One unit was not cooling in 2020. The new technician said that the units were never properly cleaned. The situation was reviewed with the Woodfin supervisor who took NO responsibility.

We called today about a potentially leaking radiator. We had a potential Covid19 exposure and are awaiting test results early next week. We were informed that the technician would not visit our home for 2 weeks after a negative test result.

We renovated our kitchen that required removing the existing plumbing in one step, then installing new plumbing. They gave us the best quote out of three, but screwed up and needed to come back twice to fix problems. Their response was great. They're big enough to absorb mistakes, but small enough to respond.

Requested a service to include a premium rate to troubleshoot my propane heater recently installed by woodfin. Was told they cannot see me until Jan 5th (2 weeks away). For a company that prides themselves on being 24hr, and a customer willing to pay overtime/premium rates to have operating appliances, i believe this to be acceptable. Furthermore, they installed equipment (propane tank and regulator) and if the problem exists with the equipment they provided I would believe it's their due diligence to correct the issue free of cost immediately.

The plumbing experience I had with this company was the worst. The plumber that came to my house charged over $500 to unclog my toilet, told us he snaked all the way to the street... so not true. I ended up calling them back out the next day less than 24 hours and they told me, no warranty on unclogs, pay another 300 and we will use the camera this time. I still feel like I was robbed by this company. Especially since calling someone else, they even concluded the plumber never did what he said he did the first time. Yet his boss defended him. With this company, the customer is NEVER right.

I called Woodfin to help me solve the heat problem upstairs. They worked with me, explained all my options and helped me choose the right one. I paid a small fortune for my two wall mounted AC units upstairs but let me tell you....they have been wonderful. I can now set my downstairs at 70 and it stays cool since it doesn't have to cool the upstairs. I had been setting it at 65 in order to cool the upstairs. And it has made all the difference in the world upstairs. My electric bill this month was....ready for it....$80 less than last month and it's been hot outside. I may not live

Originally had Woodfin check out my two heat pumps (AC). Within the next month both capacitors went out and both units were found to be 3+ lbs low on freon. While I understand capacitors go out from time to time the low freon should have been caught during the initial service call.

Great for propane, plumbing prices / quote process was awful.

Nice things first, their propane tank gas prices and service are excellent, and superior in every way to AmeriGas as far as I can tell. No complaints, easy billing, even the tank rental is included if you buy enough propane.

Plumbing was worse. It took a call to the manager to get them to honor the prices on the estimate for installing a new toilet. I was given an estimate on a service call (which has its own fee). When I only wanted some work done, I was told the prices included some sort of bundle discount which was never told to

Had a problem with the heating on my top floor. I had called another company, James River Air Conditioning Company, and was quoted over $1,000 to fix it. Called Woodfin for a second opinion and they fixed it for $250. Everything is working perfectly now.

Sam was the person who helped us. He was very kind, professional, and quick.

Thank you for being honest, professional, and efficient! Will use again if any other problems arise.

Removed our old systems and installed new. Excellent work and couldn't be happier with them. No hidden costs, no pressure, we needed our systems replaced as they were in very bad shape, almost burned the house down at one point.

The installers even offered to spread the 7 stone I bought for the heat pumps to sit on. As far as the attic install the only thing I would have asked different is the drain hose just barely gets in the way of the filter media door but still, not a big deal.

As far as the subfloor air handler location, they had to cut a section of drain pipe to get it installed
