We use a van mounted hot water steam extraction machine that runs 300-600 psi of soft hot water and soap pressure into your carpet. We extract 80-85% of the moisture which leaves your carpet clean, sanitized and looking fresh. The more carpet we can clean is better, we can slide a couch or chair out and then back, in order to clean under it however, due to liability factors, we cannot lift and move furniture.
Those store bought cleaners tend to leave a residue of detergent that becomes gummy and attracts dirt and soil. But, if you insist on using one please use a very small amount, I've seen that stuff turn carpet spots into "dirt magnets" instantly. It's a fine balance between rinsing and not over wetting/potentially damaging your carpet.

Let me tell y’all about this company, if you need your carpets cleaned, Scott is your guy. He not only does carpet cleaning but also can clean your couch! What other company can do that??? I didn’t think my 19 year old carpet could look and smell this great! The service was very prompt and professional, reasonably priced, and they did an excellent job removing stains and pet odor. I would definitely recommend their services and will be using them again, when needed.

Update 10/19: Had them out again and of course didn't disappoint. Even after a hiccup with their equipment they finished the job beyond my satisfaction in an amazing amount of time...
Great work, excellent price especially compared to the national franchises. Even gave a break on the cost because his last appointment ran over causing his arrival to be delayed, THAT is customer service and why Harman Family Carpet Cleaning will be my one choice in carpet care, highly recommended.
