Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness
This contractor does not pay for work completed. Says he will then stops answering my calls. Homeowner says that he was already paid for the job. Now I have to file Lien on House. I did the work Oct 2021.

Our home was struck by lightning in May, 2021. We hired Whitley Construction Company and our home is still in disrepair. Much of the work has not been done and what has been done is NOT quality work. He has now become threatening and intimidating.

Whitley Construction remodeled my house after Hurricane Harvey. Construction after a disaster is very different than choosing to remodel. Even though it took a long time, Chip worked with me to finish everything to my satisfaction and the completion looks wonderful. Everyone that has seen the house loves how everything looks. I am throughly enjoying my newly finished home, thanks to Chip and Whitley Construction.

We had AC Overflow issues which flooded out upstairs bathroom and all the way down to the first floor entryway. Chip's crew was out quickly and assessed the issued and started immediatly to get everything torn out, dried out and repaired. His crew was very responsive with thier and our needs even working weekends when needed.
I'll be using him again in the future for work.

Chip and his crew rebuilt us after Harvey -- when supplies and labor were both in short supply. His crew was unfailingly professional, skilled, trustworthy and patient in the midst of everyone's uneasiness with dislocation -- and he navigated interactions with FEMA and insurance skillfully. Chip had some great design suggestions for our 1 year old fairly unadorned house -- and we are enjoying the updates! We continue to use Chip for projects -- and he finds time and is responsive despite the scope being small. We are very satisfied.

Chip and his crews were professional and courteous throughout our renovation! The attention to detail was impressive and the teams listened to all of my suggestions and respected my home during the construction time. My kitchen counter tops and backsplash as well as the sink and dishwasher installation all look amazing! The breadboard and shiplap in my dining room and over the fireplace is so beautiful and is custom quality work. The roofing crew installed and cleaned up my property in one day! I will be contacting them again for any construction projects in the future!

I’m very particular when it comes to construction of any sort, including fences. Chip and his crew do a top notch job. Their eye for detail makes all the difference both aesthetically, as well as structurally. I actually feel sorry for my neighbors who used other contractors. The workmanship in Chip’s fence construction, compared to that of other contractors work in the neighborhood, is like night and day. I was fortunate enough to have Chip do all three sides of my yard. It looks absolutely fantastic!

Whitley Construction Services recently replaced my aging fence and it looks outstanding! A neighbor decided to replace a shared fence without informing me. He used pretreated wood, power-nailed the fencing, misaligned the heights of the boards. They even didn't attach it to my other fence. That company quoted me an offer to complete the rest of my fencing. I reached out to Chip and without knowing the other offer, he came back with a slightly cheaper price using cedar fencing, two doors, and screws. I must say that the quality of the construction was awesome (see the pictures below). The fence
