A past Scatton’s customer with a newer HVAC install we were interested in returning to Scattons for annual service. Called them on a Thursday morning and after answering some initial questions was told someone would call us back.
Next day still no call I followed up in the AM. Initially apologetic I was told I’d need to speak to “Pat” who was in the warehouse and was currently unavailable.
I had asked if there was a problem as it seemed as Scattons was making up their mind to take us back or not and I was told they were a busy small company without the staff to respond to my call.

Today Scattons was out to my home to repair a top of the line Carrier unit that I bought 10 years ago from a competitor of theirs. Originally I called the company that I bought the unit from and caught them in several lies about warranty coverage and cost. I ended up calling Carrier directly and they told me about Scattons, so I called there and spoke with the owner, Mike. Mike was honest, quoted a fair price for the work and then put me on a their schedule to have the work completed. The technician that came to my house to do the work was very competent and did a great job. I'm very happy with

Critical: Professionalism
In the middle on a cold weekend, our heater went out. Scatton’s installed the heater in our home before we bought the house but refused to come out and service the unit over the weekend because we were “new customers.” Regardless of their other reviews, it’s tough to recommend a company with no compassion. Look elsewhere.

We wanted to replace the AC before it went south. Vince C. worked with us to get the proper system. Vicky kept us posted. The installation team (John, Nick, Rob) worked well together. Were neat and careful. A pleasure to have in the house. Scatton was a referral to me. I'd recommend them and use again. No mysteries or surprises. Showed up exactly when they said they would. Very good communicator's.
EDIT.... had heater serviced today (9/29/2020). Technician Vince showed up on time and did a thorough service maintenance visit. Absolutely a great company to deal with.

Scatton's helped us replace our central AC. They were professional, courteous and very helpful. Our experience from beginning to end was very good. Vicki, Vince and the installation team were all great. Vince also suggested some duct modifications which has helped improve circulation in our house. They are certified to install Carrier products which is a bonus. Highly recommend. Thank You Scatton's.

It is always a pleasure to deal with Scatton's. We have used them for many years on the commercial side of things at our business and just recently used them for a big job at our home. Mike and the guys are amazing to work with! They could not be more knowledgeable (explaining everything in detail), polite, and honest! They are also extremely thoughtful of their work space, keeping things clean and organized. I highly recommend them!

I wish I could give more stars. This company is great! When we called about heater not working, their customer service was TOP notch. We called maybe five other companies and were answered with nothing but attitude. Scatton's went above and beyond...customer service on the phone was professional as well as in person. Our technician Vince was awesome. He was on time, explained everything clearly and very personable!!! I highly recommend this company! We will definitely be using them in the future!!!!
