I signed and paid for a design contract over a month ago with Charles Lyon and his company after a consultation where he said he could design and remodel by bathroom in my timeframe within my budget.
Weeks and weeks later, communication with Charley and his team has been like pulling teeth, with multiple messages before they respond. I would recommend that Charlie spend a little money and hire subcontractors with expertise in the different areas. Justin was a nice guy and knew how to do some of the project but 'jack of all trades, master of none' rings true. We had problems with electrical...he didn't know how to reconnect the internet provider modem phone line. We had problems with painting...paint at the edging around the wall/ ceiling joint had to be redone by us after we showed him what painting spots needed a redo. We had problems with flooring... couldn't complete the transitions on the flooring (that

Charlie is extremely knowledgeable, thorough and easy to talk to. We recently had him out to look at our turn of the century home to discuss renovation plans. He gave great insight and suggestions, things we didn't think about beforehand.
