Well, where do I begin! Such a sad & bad situation! I heard they permanently closed & if they didn't, they should! First of all they would never return your calls & it was useless to leave a message! My time with them started in November & ended on 12/30 when a final attempt lead to no avail! We then call AHS to complain & they sent someone new out to do a second opinion & our luck finally changed! He called & showed up right away! After an assessment he called to get the job approved, had all the parts on his truck & finished same day & in a timely manner

My review is consistent with multiple others posted over the last couple years who did not "choose" Amp Mechanical Heating & Air, but were "assigned" this contractor through a home warranty company.
Do not expect to be able to contact AMP through their phone line or expect to have voicemails returned.
First technician misdiagnosed the problem, second technician a week later lied and refused to leave the old part he replaced, third technician cussed me out in my living room for asking questions, then quickly followed it up with the caveat "you can't get me in

They showed up and stated my AC that had water running over the ground was "running fine" and they would redirect water from condensation. They used PC that was previously used and broken. The wind blew on it and it fell apart in multiple places. I now have water running over my floor again, out the cost, and a compete waste of time. I hope to read you are no longer in business on the near future. Also, fire the guy that can out because he sprinted back to the truck because he knew he did a poor job. You. Are . Awful. If I could give negative stars I would do so! They lied to my home warranty company stating there was no duct work damage. Then when I called & finally got someone to answer after a couple weeks of leaving messages & no return call. I asked why they told the warranty company there was no damage. I was told well we don't have cameras to check! This has postponed my repairs by at least a month! The tech that was sent out to check my duct work had just rolled out of bed, his hair sticking up all over & didn't even check the air duct. He just said we will refer it to a different

If I could give 0 I would! Had to use because of warranty company. A/C went out on a Tuesday. It took until Monday to get a technician out to my house. He was here 10 minutes and said it was electrical. Had an electrician come out on Tuesday and electrical was fine. Called warranty company and they called AMP. AMP said it would be Friday before another technician could come out. We had our money refunded from warranty company and called local heat and air company. Same day service! AMP should not be trusted with your heat and air needs!

This company is an absolute fraud. They were assigned because of my home warranty (First America) company. My upstairs AC has been out for 2 months and 9 days since filing the claim (5/4/20). They have had techs out 4 times because they failed to properly diagnose the problem(s). It is one delay after another. They have just come out again to replace the coil. However, AMP claims there was an additional $620 charge due to line modifications, which is complete BS. Their own tech confirmed it is BS and said "I can't believe they are charging you anything". Home warranty company (AHS) sent AMP out to repair our heat pump/AC unit. AMP refilled freon and added some sort of leak block. Two days later AC stopped again. They came back out and said there was a leak at the wall which spewed freon when he pressed on the pipe where it entered the brick. Said it would be easy to repair. Never heard back from them. Called AHS and they said AMP reported that all the lines need to be completely replaced for over $900+ not covered by warranty. I had AMP mechanical come out to just do a system check on my AC at the beginning of summer. The units had been working great, we just thought a check up would be good and prudent. The person that came out suggested we needed 3 pounds of freon. Not only did he charge us a call out fee for both units of $75/unit, but he proceeded to charge us for each pound of freon (which is normal). The kicker is, our AC stopped working...we called a different company to come and look at it. I would give 0 stars if I could. Stay away, far far away. This company was assigned to me through HomeShield Warranty. After waiting 5 days for the initial visit, the technician did not fix my problem. He stated that he replaced "some fried wires". The unit behaved the exact same way after he left, so I question if he did anything. Mind you I have two AC units (one upstairs and one downstairs) The upstairs unit was operating normally the entire time. The downstairs unit was shutting off after an hour of operation. Technician came out to my house for a Home Warranty call. The refrigerant line had corroded at the entry to the wall. He told me it had rubbed against the bricks and that they would fix it and left for parts. Then I got a call from the Home Warranty company saying he had reported it was not due to Normal Wear and Tear. My contract specifically states corrosion is covered along with rust, improper installation, etc.

This company is disgraceful. They came to my house under the direction of my home warranty company and decide my condenser coil was out. He told me he needed to contact my warranty company for the ok to repair. 3 days later I heard nothing so I called my warranty company and they stated the company canceled the order. This company didn't even have the decency to call me to let me know the couldn't repair it. So instead I waited 3 days thinking they were getting the OK but instead they canceled the service call. I would not trust a company who treats their customers with such dishonesty
