Services
Turner's began in 1967 when Stan and Bernice Turner opened up a greenhouse and garden center. Since then, it has expanded to include landscape and construction in order to suit the needs of the growing Ann Arbor community. Turner's Garden Center is family-owned and operated to this day: Stan and Bernice's four sons own the business and run the day to day operations.

I love Turner's! Fresh air & sunlight & hundreds of garden plants. Indoor/outdoor racks & tables of tomatoes, basil, peppers, geraniums - every flower, tasty veggie, & savory herb you can think of! Outdoor sculpture garden plus rows of trees & shrubs are like a trip to a pretty park. Another customer remarked how beautifully kept the grounds are. Nice staff, ample parking, good prices (especially for such high quality plants).

Ignore the road construction signs and keep driving to Turner's. Once there embrace the care and beauty of the place. Their knowledge and care of the plants they sell excels above the rest. My wife and I bought over $300 of plants and three of those were hydrangeas. I don't have a green thumb but I know I got the right plants for me because the member of Turner's team told me all about the care guidelines for these specific plants. Overall, these hydrangeas are best left alone, the less you do,, the better they survive. Plus, supporting a local business like Turner's helps not just them but their

Rarely in today’s business environment, do you walk into a store, nursery or shop and feel like you’ve run into an old friend.
Turner’s Nursery makes you feel welcome, listens to your needs and offers wonderful suggestions. Their entire staff are well informed and extremely helpful. We’ve been to literally all of the local and Southeastern Michigan Nurseries and Landscaping business’s and simply keep returning to Turner’s, because of people like Jim and Chris.

Turner’s plants are top quality. Last year’s perennials from them came back stronger than the big box store’s and the new additions are off to a strong start. My tulips that I bought here this fall put on quite a show this spring - lots of compliments.
Their staff has always been helpful and made great recommendations when I’ve asked for guidance. I just went for the first time this season, and the curbside pick up option was super efficient and staff were kind, even in these challenging circumstances.
