I was taken advantage of when I called them for service. When I realized what they did (which was legal but dishonest), I called and asked for a partial refund. I was offered, at an additional cost to me, a band aide attempt to fix a broken unit. I was offered good information about the unit, AFTER I had paid their service person. He should have told me before not after .

Vanderwist replaced my forced air heating system in my almost 100 year old home. Service was fast, efficient, and professional. Tom was very helpful and kind in getting my home warm in November and working within my budget as a single mom. The furnace has been working beautifully for several years. Would highly recommend without reservations.

Our A/C quit at the beginning of the long Labor Day weekend. Since it's 15 years old, I feared replacement was going to be needed and didn't want to pay for a holiday service call to find this out. I contacted Vanderwist Tuesday morning. Their techs were here before noon, replaced a $50 part and got us running again.

I accidentally let my ancient boiler run out of water. The owner Tom came out immediately and helped me safely assess the situation. He knew what he was talking about and explained everything to me. Thanks to him I've been able to keep the old boiler limping along for now but I'll be using Vanderwist to replace it soon. He didn't even charge me for the call out.
