Every homeowner knows that a properly installed roof is one of the most important investments that can be made when buying or renovating a home. Thankfully, residential roofing is one of D.R. Martineau's many areas of expertise. Whether making a small roof repair or installing a brand new roof, we have you covered.
One of the most critical parts of protecting our homes is making sure our roofs are in good condition. To go from a shingle roof to a tile roof, you need to have your roof engineered to handle the extra weight of a tile roof. If you have a metal roof, you can go with a shingle roof or another metal roof but not a tile roof unless your home formerly had a tile roof.
FRSA Credit Union can set up repayment with an automatic debit to an account or if you prefer, they can provide you with a loan coupon book. This is a personal loan for up to $15,000 for roofing costs and the term of the loan is from 12-60 months. Once the loan is approved, the check is released jointly to the FRSA member company and the customer.
Many insurance companies are requiring homeowners with roofs over 20 years old to replace them because the codes 20 years ago were not as stringent as they are today. Some insurers don't write new policies for homes with roofs over 20 years old and they won't pay to fully replace the roof. They only reimburse for what an old roof is worth after 20-plus years.

This review is a long time coming for such a great job D.R. Martineau Construction did on our flat roof replacement on the beach. We live up north and Frank was great to work with, sending us pictures and updates from start to finish. We had water damage and rot, they repaired and fix all issues. We chose to go with a TPO roof and because of the quality of workmanship, this is a 35+ year roof. I’ve had a few other trade contractors over to work on the house and they all comment on the roof. Excellent job D.R. Martineau Construction!!

I had a nasty job for them, a foreclosure I knew needed the entire roof torn off to the rafters and replaced. Some of their competitors didn't even call back with an estimate. Their bid was competitive and they were thorough with the estimate so no surprises. It took a long time for them to get to the job (Covid?) but once they got to it they knocked it out. Friendly crew, cleaned up each day, and a really pretty finished job. The owner himself came out and spoke with me to see if everything was ok.

Very bad work on my neighbor's roof, she contacted the manager of the company more than two times and is still waiting, when they inspected it seems that everything was fine and as the days go by well I see this, she complained that water entered his room and I started to check the ceiling, I do not recommend this company.

DR Martineau construction was great. We had a new roof put on. They were so professional!
All the workers were kind and considerate and very hard working. The efficiency of everything was perfect. They timed it all out beautifully from the first night that someone came to lay down the plastic and the plywood to the dumpster delivery and pick up. They cleaned up every night and were here bright and early each day. This was all done over the Christmas and New Year's holiday and we were not inconvenienced at all. GREAT JOB! THANK YOU

In early 2018, we bought a home; however, it had an aging roof. We decided to get it replaced several months after closing. We shopped around and got a good quote for the work from DR Martineau.
They showed up when they said they would and finished the job in a reasonable amount of time. Our contact from the company answered our questions and returned calls promptly. They were very friendly and professional. The only complaint we have is that some roofing nails were left behind in the yard, but it is a minor complaint.
