In length: After reaching out to several HVAC professionals for an estimate of installing either mini-splits or central air in my sub-1k square ft 1965 home, I chose Gilman because they offered an HVAC install for just several hundred dollars more than what others were quoting me for just mini-splits. I figured that marginal increase in cost would be well worth the investment.
The proposal was only good for one month, but I didn't have the funds up front, so they gave me a financing option that was entirely pain-free. Ben

I called this morning and they had someone out within a few hours. Lee came out and diagnosed the problem within the first couple of minutes. I previously had another A/C company come out saying there was no problem but clearly there was. Lee was very informative and got it fixed right away. Gilman Heating and Cooling has been a lifesaver this summer! My air conditioner went down and after being led in circles from another company I called Gilman’s. They were out the same day and had the issue resolved quickly after the other company left me for 3 weeks without air. Dave the technician was very knowledgeable and friendly. Very happy with their service and I will continue to use them for all my cooling needs.

As a new Florida transplant, I had no idea how HOT it gets here in the summer without AC [LOL]. I had no resources yet so I asked a neighbor who he would recommend and without hesitation, he recommended Gilman Cooling & Heating. I thought I was calling an after-hours emergency number [it was 8pm on a Thursday night] to leave a message be the first call back of the next morning. As it turns out, the number was the owner's personal cell and left a message. He responded that evening and let me know he sent a message to his office staff to send a technician to diagnose/estimate first thing

I was really impressed with owner, Don Gilman's professionalism, expertise and caring attitude during the whole process of my initial service call to fix my Hayward pool heater. The price was right too!
At that point I asked him to check my 11 year old central AC which was giving me drainage problems since it was installed by someone else. He diagnosed the problem and pointed out some other apparent issues. I asked for a quote and he explained everything he was doing and why in easy to understand terms. He gave me my low price and when I told him I was a veteran he reduced the price 10%.
