I hired Aspenwood Landscaping to do a fall clean up on a small front and back yard in Castle Rock. When I requested a quote I was given an hourly rate for 2 workers and was told I had to pay a 2 hour minimum which I agreed to. After the service was completed I received an invoice double what I expected to pay. I was charged a $150 dump fee and was also charged an additional hourly rate for a 3rd worker which I did not request.
The quality of work was wonderful and I have no complaints about the job completed but this is simply an unfair way to do business. As a single mom I reached out to this

We looked at several different companies to put in a patio and build a stairway down a steep backyard hill. Aspenwood was by far the most helpful in making our vision come to life. From deciding on materials and colors to helping get approval from the HOA, they were easy to work with. Dakota and Phill were responsive to our questions, pointed out ways to make our vision more functional and delivered a quality product.

Josiah and the Aspenwood Landscape team did a wonderful job transforming our backyard into a fully useable space. From the initial design and tweaks along the way, they took what we had in mind and absolutely nailed it! We wanted an open and simpler concept than what the previous owners had done to the yard (train wreck of shrubs and a warped deck) and within a couple weeks, our backyard was brand new. They installed a beautiful paver patio, new sod, a new walkway from the front to the back yard, and a new rock perimeter. They really opened up the space exactly how we imagined it.

Aspenwood's quote for our back yard project wasn't the lowest but it was also far from the highest. The best part though was having Curtis on the job site throughout. He was fantastic to work with and had great suggestions along the way that made the whole project come together far better than we originally imagined. The crew did terrific work, cleaned up every day and was careful with some of the existing plants and yard we were keeping. Aspenwood Is overpriced and doesn't offer weeding services. They told me that they had to raise prices 30% because "the cost of gas is higher." Only positive I can think of is that they respond fairly quickly to requests.

I recently had a paver patio, fire pit, and a pool installed by Aspenwood and everything turned out absolutely wonderful! The quality of work was exceptional and I could tell that the crew members actually cared about the work they were doing. I will definitely be hiring them again next year to redo the landscaping in our front yard.

We have used Aspenwood Landscape for many of our projects: sprinkler system for over our 5 acres, lines to our beautiful pine trees, sod, pavers, patio.. the list goes on. Recently, they just completed an outstanding project! We have tried a few others, but Aspenwood stands out above the rest. Clear estimates, quick & easy communication, and great work. We usually repair our sprinkler issues ourselves. But recently we thought we had a cracked pipe underneath the sidewalk between zones and that repair is not in our wheelhouse. So I picked Aspenwood based on their list of services and their great rating. This rating is deserved. They diagnosed our problem, showed us the issue and though we were mistaken in our assessment it was still a problem I was more than happy to let them fix. I learned from the technicians, and also appreciated their supportive customer service, speed and skill.

These guys are great. A top notch company who is very dependable, professional and personable! I would highly recommend Josiah and his team of professionals for your landscaping needs. I called very late last year and needed my sprinklers blow out and winterized. I waited too long and the deep freeze of winter was settling in. I had a very short window to get someone and these guys, who were booked weeks out, squeezed me in and took care of it fast. No extra fees or anything. That's why I chose them to take care of my weekly gardening services. Super honest and hardworking!

Shortly after posting this review I received a phone call from Aspenwood. I mentioned my frustration and the bad taste in my mouth. He was very friendly and listened to my rant. He appreciated my comments and said he would be happy to look at my yard. He visited the next day and went went over the whole project. Again very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately his pricing is quite a bit higher than my budget. Despite everything and the fact I can't afford him, Josiah made every effort to smooth things over and I appreciate that. Hired JM to trim 5 fairly large/high trees and clean out 6 garden areas. Phil and Conner showed up on time, in 23 degree weather, smiling, and ready to work. The job took all day and was outstanding. Both men were very professional. I could not have done the job myself and I didn't have time. It was completed above expectation and at a reasonable price. They'll be back in the Spring to build us a new lawn. You won't be disappointed using their services.
