A friend recommended Jeff to paint the interior of our home, and we are very happy we called him.
Not only did he beat out every bid we received, his team did an excellent job.
We live in an older home so the walls, trim and crown molding needed a lot of work / attention to detail.
The inside of our home feels new and is much much brighter than before. We love it.
Other pros: They are punctual, clean, resourceful and efficient.

Jeff completed the work earlier than estimated, they were extremely professional and friendly. Jeff brought one guy to assist, and they moved the furniture, covered everything up, and got the whole 1st floor done in one day. One of the rooms was done in a dark purple, which is difficult. It came out gorgeous. They needed more paint than expected and went out that day and got it - We didn't even notice the issue and they didn't charge us extra. The next day they came out themself and fixed up everything on our "punch list" - which wasn't much. They made sure we were satisfied with everything and

Texas Painting Company just completed painting all the exterior trim on our craftsman style two story house - lots and lots of trim. We chose Texas Painting Company over other companies which supplied bids because of the professional demeanor, thoroughness and detail awareness of the owner. The bid was well done and complete. No way I will ever use any other painting company for any painting project. Texas Painting Company completely transformed my kitchen. They sanded, primed, and painted some bland cabinets to a factory-like finish. I never knew someone could be this passionate about paint and painting as Jeff is. The man is an absolute pleasure to work with and talk to. This is how you run a business. Delivered my project in time, incredible communication. All painters were courteous, tidy and professional. Not the cheapest quote I got, but hesitate to think anybody could beat the results or professionalism...!!

I was referred to Jeff Hawken by my daughter and son-in-law.
He painted the exterior of my house. He is reasonable in his pricing and does great work. His employees have been with his company for a long time and are very well mannered.
His company has been around for a long time too. He takes pride in his work and stands behind it. There are not too many contractors around anymore with his standards.

I used Texas Painting Company based on references form a neighborhood list. They painted my stucco and windows. First they did not take the screens off before painting so they look awful. Second, I paid for expensive Direct to Metal Paint but they used cheaper Solo paint. Paint started to immediately come off the windows. Jeff followed up once and then I never heard from him again. Third, they got paint overspray on all my screens. I have to now replace them. Fourth, they must of mixed the color wrong because I can not get touch-up paint the same to come even close to match using the same

Their work was sloppy. We had to make them clean up their mess each day. We are still finding issues with their job.
To top it off, they cleaned off all their paint tools (without asking us) outside our house, leaving white paint all over the grass. They pulled a large rock out of a front flowerbed & used that to clean paintbrushes. We found the rock, covered in paint with white paint all over a fence that we share w/ neighbors.
We notified Jeff, the owner. He said he was disappointed and would send someone out to clean up the mess. 6 days later & of course no one has cleaned up the

Shoddy work; shoddy company!! I bought a Groupon for a "whole house power wash." Obviously, I should have read their reviews before I bought it, but the price was good so I took a chance. Anyway, with three weeks still left on the Groupon, I called to schedule an appointment only to be told they couldn't come out for two months (but they would still honor the Groupon). I was also told they would send me an email confirmation, but never got it. Called several times to follow up, but they didn't return any of my calls. Fast forward to the scheduled day/time... yep, no show!!

I hired them to paint a fence. After the painters left and I had paid in full, I emailed them pictures of the spots that were missed. He said they would come back out to take care of it. They never did, so having the fence painted was pretty much a waste of money. If I had wanted to do it myself (as I will have to do now) I would have just done that in the first place - I hired painters because I didn't want to mess with it.

I saw the groupon for the company and called and made an appointment for the estimate. I was yet to buy the groupon at this time. Jeff came out promptly and gave us the quote for $1500. I was pleased with quote and asked him to send the contract and went ahead and bought the groupon. He didn't send me the contract for next 3 days. Meantime, i had called the company average twice per day.
When he finally sent me the quote, It was for $2500. Then he listed out $1000 groupon discount and the remainder was $1500. I was furious and called him to ask about it. He told me

Our experience with them was poor. Jeff, the owner, was very professional and provided a fast quote for housewide ceiling popcorn removal. He offered to start work the following Monday, well before other offers.
We expected this work to be quite messy, so we moved out for the time they were working on our home. During this time, the workers were extremely careless and disrespectful to our property. My experience with this company started off quite well. Jeff called me back very quickly after I left a message and arrived within 24 hours to give me an estimate. The crew (two people) showed up on time, 8:45 am, and seemed to get started right away. This is where the failures began.
Jeff and I agreed that the door to be repainted needed to be sanded and sprayed, the crew member however sanded and used a roller and brush. Back in February of this year, a guy came by giving estimates for house painting. It jump-started the new look our house currently sports. I ended up getting four estimates to paint the exterior of our house. We went with one of the two lowest estimates (the two lowest were about the same price). We used Texas Painting Company. It is a small local company. You know it's small when the owner is the one who comes out to give the estimate.
