Unreliable. Unprofessional. Based on my existing experience up to this point I would not recommend Shearer painting.
I cannot review the companies actual painting services based on the fact that they never showed up for either of the appointments I made.
I had an estimate for kitchen cabinet painting about a year ago. We opted to hold on that project but I did have many interior wood shutters/blinds I wanted painted so scheduled an appt to have the blinds picked up, cleaned, prepped, painted and reinstalled as the process was outlined by owner John in Feb 2021. Hands down the best painting company we have ever used! We have done a lot of commercial and residential remodeling over the years and I have never had someone do such a good job and be so respectful to me and my home. Each day the job site was immaculately cleaned up. They were thoughtful and efficient, respected covid protocols. And my kitchen looks amazing. Can not recommend Shearer painting enough!!!

Unreliable! Unprofessional! A woman from Shearer came to my home 10 days ago for an estimate. She said the estimate would be emailed within 48 hours. Called Shearer 4 days later to report I had no estimate. Now, 10 days later I called again and was told the woman was unavailable. When I asked to speak to someone else, I was told no one else was available.

This is not a review of services provided by Shearer Painting, rather a follow up from my 01/24/2020 phone call related to your company vehicle driving recklessly at approximately 12:45pm on January 24th. At that time, I was traveling south on Bellevue Way. It was a typical rainy and cold Seattle winter day, with congested roads and limited visibility. I hired Shearer painting to paint the walls and ceiling of a condo that was listed to be sold. They provided a quote same-day, with a reasonable price point, and were able to rush schedule painters over the weekend to get the condo painted in time to list. We hired Shearer to paint prep and paint window frames and the front door of our home in Sammamish. During the course of the work the painters discovered one window frame where the wood had begun to rot; Shearer removed the damaged wood and replaced the window sill. When we had questions about schedule; the estimator-project manager responded promptly. We are happy with the end result, and satisfied with the process of updates and communications from their entire team. Great attention to detail! Outstanding customer service.

I give a one star based on one thing. I emailed and asked for a estimate to paint cabinets. I got a email back thanking me for my request and the team would contact me. One month later still have not heard from anyone.
Please, if your a business owner you should call, text, or email that you do not care to the job or your just too busy.

We hired Shearer Painting to paint our kitchen cabinets and trim, 2 separate bathroom vanities, and extensive moulding in our adjoining family room. I originally found them online. I got several bids including bids for refacing and painting. Justin came out to give our bid. He did a great job of explaining the process from beginning to end so we'd know what to expect. The bid was competitive, less than the refacing and another painting bid but more than one. I liked that they sprayed everything. They took all the doors to their shop to be sprayed also. We hired Shearer Painting to repaint the entire interior of our new home prior to moving in. This included walls, trim, doors, custom cabinets and built-ins. I would like to give these guys a higher review, but overall my experience was just ok. We hired them to paint trim on our home and window frames and some exterior doors. The quote was the highest of the several we got, but Tom the salesman sold us on the professionalism and quality of the paint job his team would do.

I contacted Shearer Painting, among other painting contractors, to bid on painting my basement remodel, including a bunch of new built-in cabinets, doors, a bathroom, etc. Their bid was competitive so I chose to move forward with Shearer. The communication from their sales rep, Justin, to the project lead, Omar, to the owner, John, was exceptional. The painters were considerate when it came to cleanliness, noise, and presence in my home. They finished in a timely fashion and came back to do touch-ups as needed. When I first meet John he came across as arrogant; polite but arrogant. Unlike other painting contractors, John actually did not seem to care if I hired him to paint my house in Magnolia. However, I went with Shearer because they came highly recommended from a trusted friend.
John is great with colors and helped me get in tune with a color palette I would like. His painters were clean and professional and my project finished on time and turned out splendidly!

I give John credit, after reading the original review he called and apologized for how he handled the situation. A few days later when we still hadn't been able to find a replacement painter on the short notice, he agreed to free up capacity from other jobs to have his guys come and do the work for the originally quoted amount. The delayed timing wasn't ideal as we still had to reschedule several other folks who were hinging on the original dates (carpet cleaners, duct

We recently completed a whole house interior paint project with Shearer Painting and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. From initial consultation to final touch-ups, the project team was very professional and responsive. We needed assistance choosing colors with a goal to modernize a 2003 townhome to current style.
