What is thatch? Thatch is the dead plant material at the base of your lawn. Poweraking or "Dethatching" removes this material for a beautiful healthy lawn. Core aeration, a process of removing finger sized plugs of thatch and soil and depositing them on the surface of the lawn to break down, often will cure mild thatch problems.
Aerification allows air and nutrients to the roots of the grass plants. This process reduces compaction and is an important part of lawn maintenance. Dethatching and Core Aeration are availible as part of our full service maintenance program, or as a one time service.

My lawn needed a lot of help...weeds, dead patches, it was horrible. JJ came in and cleaned everything up, thatched, aerated and mowed. The lawn looks amazing and the best part about it is that I didn't have to do it. God bless JJ and Landscape plus. He's at the top of my lawn care list! I'm going to call him Dr. Lawn from now on.... Or maybe The Lawn Wizard.
