Please note, we currently do not go North of I-90 on the west side, or North of Renton on the Eastside. We hope to add these service areas in the near future. NOTE ON SHAKE OR TILE ROOFS: We do not service or install shake or tile roofs at this time. We can replace or repair shake shingles, but we cannot offer the other options to clean or treat them.

We chose Mears roofing to do our roof and they have been great. They were on time and on budget. I had an issue that I think is our siding contractor. The siding contractor said it was the roofer. When I called Mears about it they didn't hesitate they said they would come and fix it. No hassle no haggling no blaming someone else. They are great!

Ben's crew did my roof and a solar tube and 3 skylights at a very fair price. The work was excellent, and crew friendly and respectful. Arthur did an excellent job framing in the skylights! I have had small requests and the office has responded very fast and in a concerned manner. I recommend Mears Roofing without hesitation, very pleased!

Just had Mears Roofing put a new roof on my 2 bedroom rambler in north Tacoma. They were highly recommended by a neighbor who also used to be a contractor, so he had personal knowledge of the quality of their work. I am glad I decided to go with Mears, as they did a superb job. Everyone I dealt with was professional, courteous, responsive, and prompt. Price was reasonable. I took some time to watch their guys actually work while it was being installed. Just hire Mears!!!! Just do it. No price comparisons or other estimates needed. They have been so amazing through our entire remodel process. Responsive, helpful, flexible, and the price was completely appropriate. I will post a photo when they are done installing but Every single office person has helped us multiple times. They even helped me switch out my roofing materials after delivery because I chose a different color of shingle!!!! They answered my panicked email at 8:30pm at night. They happily changed my roofing installing date at least 4 times with zero issues. I could not be happier and

After getting various bids, 5 total of which 2 from GAF Approved contractors, I'm glad I picked Mears Roofing. My job included a pitched roof and a flat top. Both were stripped to the original plywood. Flat roofing also used approved GAF product. Under payment for pitched roof was GAF TigerPaw which was a grade up from other competitors.
There was a siding problem due to improper flashing installment. I left a VM on a Saturday and within 3 hours I got a call back from Ben Mears to discuss this issue. I sent Ben some pictures who called back with a game plan. Siding was fixed professionally

Mears Roofing provides excellent customer service. From the up-front, no pressure consultation, to the regular progress updates, and the quality work Mears far exceeded my expectations. They were fast, clean, and thorough. They went above and beyond and surprised me by installing gutters on my chicken coop after I mentioned that I was thinking about repurposing some of my old gutters to do that. I highly recommend them.

Mears Roofing did a fantastic job on our roof. Ashley called me everyday, while I was at work, to give updates. They kept my property clean and the crew was great. They weren’t the highest priced nor the lowest.but their customer service and their quality is second to none in my opinion.

We are very happy with Mears roofing. They were knowledgeable, easy to work with, and careful. They removed old roofing, took down part of a failing chimney and replaced with a vent, replaced all vents and any rotten plywood, added plywood to garage because it only had tongue and groove, and then laid new HD shingles. We love how it looks, and how quickly they were able to work, (2 and 1/2 days). We would recommend Mears to anyone who needs roof work.

We are very satisfied with the work that Mears Roofing did. The workers who installed the shingles were conscientious and meticulous in their work. The front office support was excellent. They responded to concerns and questions on the same day. They constantly update you with the progress of the installation. Ben was honest and fair with his estimate. I had Ben Mears out to look at my roof to give me an estimate on re roofing. I just want to say he was the most down to earth guy I have dealt with in a long time. He has been in business a while and he knows the area and what it will take to make the customer happy. I would not hesitate to ask the Mears roofing company for further work.

I was nervous about getting bids to re-roof my house and reached out to a few local companies with mixed results. Mears gave me an honest assessment that my roof actually was good for another 7 years! The only issue was chimney flashing that needed to be redone and he suggested a good cleaning and moss repellent. I felt confident to schedule the project. Two weeks before my scheduled day I received a phone call asking if the crew could come earlier and my day was moved up! BONUS! Ben (owner), Ericka, Amber, Antonio, and the rest of the Mears crew provided exceptional service. My large roof was beyond end-of-life and suffering from significant water damage. From the initial inspection and bid to the final inspection, Mears completed the work with great care and completeness. Our next times with Mears have been for maintenance. Sorry it took so long to say thanks- new house to us so it has been a riot to get it all done on our beautiful "fancy" house in the last three years. They have gone out of their way to get the job done right. Especially as we needed an added downspout from the top to the bottom of three floors this last time!!! Mears Roofing is the best. I was very specific about which brand of shingle I wanted due to warranty so I only searched for certified contractors from that brand. I got three quotes from different contractors: one was through referral, one from online reviews, and Mears roofing was from my past experience with them for gutter cleaning. Mears roofing came with the lowest and most reasonable price. (The highest one was 50% higher!!!) The lower price was not from cutting corners. I called them and one day later they did a roof assesment
(wind blew off some shingles) I liked their quote and called them again.
Next day a Roofer was here, did the job precisely, showed me photos and left.
THIS met my every expectationn. No games, no incremental price increases. Happy camper here !
When it comes time to re-roof, I'll calll them first.

I have been in construction for over 30 yrs and needed a metal roof installed on my latest project. Mears was excellent. They sent Artur, their metal roof installer, and he was amazing. He was a fast worker. On the other hand, he also took his time to contemplate on how to install our two gazebo roofs and did a beautiful job when he was done. He was always professional and the job site was spotless at the end of each day. There were a few problems delaying the job that has more to do with material handling than any on-the-job difficulties. I highly recommend them and Artur, specifically.

I have hired this company a couple times, their office staff is friendly and fast to get information to you and their installers are always professional and knowledgeable. I called recently and asked if they were able to complete some work within a short timeframe, not only did they work me in to their schedule, but they always seem to go above and beyond. I would recommend this company again and again, though they haven't always been the cheapest bid, I know I can trust them and rely on them and that's worth more to me than a few dollars.

We had our house re-roofed with Mears after receiving several quotes from companies large and small with email and in person quotes. They where surely not the low bidder but that wasn't the deciding factor. We had them complete the work while we were on vacation so I can't speak for the crew during construction but we came home to everything cleaned up looking great. I think they even cleaned the gutters for us with the new roof.

Back in 2014 we had Mears Roofing replace our roof. We did a competitive bidding where a handful of companies spoke to us about options and prices and we were most impressed with Mears and their prices were solid as well.
They explained things well and didn't talk down to me. They were willing to discuss the pros and cons of different options and allowed me to chose as I wanted and helped me make choices to get the best I could for the money I had.
Part of their selling points were they guarantee their work and would come back to fix thing as needed if anything came up.

Found them based on reviews from Yelp. They were completely professional, gave us a fair quote, and the job took one day.
Pretty much the entire experience was really great. The workers were very respectful and cleaned up throughly after themselves. A friend had a new roof put on by a different company and they were stepping on nails a few days after their roof was installed.
A week or so after our roof was done Ben came out, inspected the work and asked of we had any questions or concerns.
The roof looks great!!!!

I've been meaning to do this review for a while now. I love these guys!!! They did an excellent job on my roof. Their estimate was not the lowest, but it was reasonable, and there were no cost "surprises". Their work was timely, and thorough. I couldn't believe it took three guys, three days from start to finish. (One of my neighbors had hers done a few months beforehand, they had about 10 guys and a week to complete)
I come home everyday and love how my roof looks!!! It has changed the whole feel of my house.

We set an appointment based on good reviews, over 7 days out. The employee came early and my tenant was not notified in time. No follow ups were made until this review was posted. To be clear, the poor review has to do with lack of communication rather than quality or cost of Mears work. For this reason I have increased the rating from one to three stars.

Our roof looks stunning, and best yet, it's 100% watertight. Ben came out to give us an estimate, and we were super impressed because he himself got up on our roof to look for concerns, issues, and condition. This is rare, I'll tell you.
