Nick came to my house for a project estimate of between 6-12 thousand dollars and wouldn't give me a written detailed estimate until I signed a contract which he is now saying retainer fee is non refundable (not on the contract he emailed me to read before bringing a copy for me to sign). after I signed he sent me a breakdown of an estimate which was over 32 thousand dollars. an additional 20 thousand to the max he verbally estimated for me convincing me to sign a contract and hire him to do the job. not to mention he insisted on having me send an additional 2,500 dollars for the architect before
