Services
Sansevieria Samurai (AKA Sword Sansevieria) is known for it's beautiful architectural growth pattern -- with blade-like leaves that stack and fan out in a zig-zag pattern. If your shady spots are looking a little dull and uninspired, you may want to consider Torenia, which blooms generously and brightly in shade!
Judy has an eye for utilizing height, colors, and textures in all of her designs - and is especially creative with custom pieces. Go coastal, modern, or tropical, or for the occasion like Halloween and Easter. Judy can turn your ideas to life using items at the boutique, utilizing your vases/containers, or matching your space.
It's a balance of traditional aesthetics reborn through modern materials. The coastal communities of the eastern seaboard have molded our traditional aesthetic, but tradition only goes so far when it comes to withstanding the elements. This line is perfectly suited to the Gulf Coast extremes. Our clients have provided extremely positive feedback, saying they leave it out year-round with minimum cleaning and maintenance.

Why call it Tom's Thumb Nursery? Shouldn't it be Tom Thumb's Nursery? What is a "thumb nursery"? I could get it if you only sold roses or something thorny, but it seems more like an error than a bad pun or something like that.
Also, when I went there, there was a sign on the door beside the cash register that said 50% off of all plants. I went through the door, past the sign, and came back with two plants. No discount. I pointed to the sign. The woman came out from behind the register and removed the sign. So, I walked out of the same door that I walked in through and bought the same two plants

This is a very hard review to write, because I have absolutely loved this nursery in the past. It was great to have someplace on the island with some of the rarer plants available. Recently though, I’ve… noticed a sharp decline in quality and plant expertise. I prefer the people assisting me in a nursery to know at least as much as I do about plants, and their recent hires are pretty clueless when I’ve come to them with questions or requests. Plants are displayed and selling for inflated prices - plants that I would never expect to even see on the floor, even at a clearance price

I stopped in a couple of weeks ago to pick out some plants for our yard. The ladies out in the garden were so helpful and absolutely lovely. I was impressed with their knowledge and their recommendations were perfect. My plants are happy in their new spots!
I understand the prices are a bit higher than bog box stores, but I’d rather shop a mom & pop to keep our island thriving.

Several years ago on a trip to Galveston we happened upon this nursery. Had a great experience. Purchased a beautiful orange pot for our backyard flowerbed. The very nice lady gave us a cutting off of a hibiscus. We nursed it all the way home and it is beautiful!
We returned to Galveston recently and we’re excited to tell them about how well the hibiscus is and to thank them again. We also were looking for a bigger pot to transfer it to. When we got there we saw a worker sweeping. She looked up at us and immediately went back to sweeping. It was then that I noticed that she had earbuds in and
