We are family owned and operated. The owners, Paul and Cindy Davidson started this company in 2001. Working for several different companies over the years and tired of seeing customers being taken advantage of, Paul and Cindy decided to go into business for themselves, and that's exactly what they did.

I became acquainted with Design Air, Inc thru my neighbor and then later I saw a number of trucks at a nearby 7-11 store and thought it great to have such a service close by. Design Air, Inc has maintained service at my residence now for 11-12 years still maintaining the original equipment nearing 21 years of age. The staff has always been professional and friendly. The different service technicians knowledgeable, thorough, courteous and always timely. Any parts needed are always readily available. Obviously staff has been trained very well!! After narrowing down which company to go with, I choose 4.5 stars, price, as a senior, and a veteran. I read the reviews as well; not to mention a referral company never showed for three appointments. So I really needed service since my house was 95 plus on the previous hot days. I got sick from the heat.

I contacted quite a few companies to get quotes for a full AC replacement. Design Air was by far the best offer. Not necessarily the cheapest but we definitely got what we paid for. There was one small hiccup during installation but it was quickly and professionally rectified. I highly recommend Design Air.

They performed magic on my current rooftop AC. They were on time and was very professional. Sharp work trucks as well as state of the art AC repair equipment.
They performed more than is or was required for the service I needed. They used a quality filter for my system that was beyond what I have received from prior companies that serviced my AC before.
They scheduled a second call out to check other areas of my system as it was completely frozen on first visit. THEN I SCREWED THE POOCH AND WROTE IT WRONG ON MY CALENDAR.

A brand new 5-Ton Trane unit was just put in outside this morning with an all new furnace and other equipment in the attic...and it is SO QUIET compared to the old unit.
Fast...they were in and out in 2.5 hours and this place is now COLD.

I saw an ad in the Sunday Press-Enterprise for The Quiet Cool Fan System and decided to get a quote from Design Air. I appreciated that they wanted to come out to my home to provide me a quote. The other company did everything over the phone. I was not comfortable with a company that only gave a quote over the phone. I would highly recommend Design Air. They are a family owned business in the Inland Empire. When we first met Paul we knew that we were going to use Design Air. A few days before our install of our new unit our old unit went out, I called Design Air and Megan had Paul at my home in just a few hours, Paul replaced a part at "no charge" no service… fee, he said don't worry we will be here this week to replace the unit Today his team came in on time they were all very nice, neat clean and all wearing N95 mask (covid 19). The service we received was above and beyond within hours our new unit

This is the second year in a row that I had to call them because I didn't trust the company my insurance called out. They came the same day, not 2 weeks later. Bottom line is I got my best night's sleep last night!
They did an awesome job cleaning my system last year. Stayed until the job was done and didn't charge any more than they quoted.
This year I decided to replace my 38 year old system with a more efficient one and stop needing service every year. They checked what I needed and are doing a complete job at a reasonable price.

I had my compressor moved from the back of the house to the side yard. The work , while expensive ($1,900) was done professionally and I am happy with the results.

The service was good and fast. However I just realized I paid $322.00 for a dual foiled capacitor and 1 filter that took less than 10 minutes to be diagnosed and fix. I checked online and the parts ran an average of 10 to 40 dollars. Buyer beware.
If you are handy or lack lots of money to give away and watch youtube, you just maybe able to save yourself some money by doing some easy tasks yourself.
My air feels great though.

I'm writing this review for my 88 year old mom. She is extremely happy with her new heating and cooling system from these guys. She said they did exactly what they said they would do, and exactly when they said they would do it. And at a fair price. And I would like to say thank you for not trying to sell her things she didn't need, and in fact telling her she really didn't need upgraded items she was asking about. We need more companies like this in this world.

I called them because they were recommended by my AC guy who was working out of town (small shop). They returned my calls when they said they would, arrived on time and fit me into the schedule earlier when I explained I had some elderly people living in the property. The price was a tad steep in my opinion but still 5 stars. I got what I paid for.

When I first called for service from this company I informed the manager I spoke to that I am renting and she looked up the address and said yes I show your owners info. The soonest appt they had was wed am two days away from when I called I said ok she then proceeded to tell me they would have to call our owner and get a credit card for payment before they send a technician. Ok greed we hung up all is good. Today Wednesday a technician showed up an hour earlier then scheduled thank God my fiancé didn't work today and said the unit needs to be replaced. Design Air came in to replace my entire air conditioning unit & furnace in June. Paul and his staff were very professional. They installed and finished in half a day. I was very pleased with their work. I love my air conditioning unit it works like a charm. Works as it's supposed to and it's super quiet inside & out. I'm sure I will enjoy the heater this winter as well. They are available if you run into any problems. Their staff will page them (Paul) and you can be sure to expect a call back right away.

Once again, Design Air pulled through for me. As a landlord in DC - it's difficult to know when the people that you contract out are honest. This is why I decided to go with Design Air instead of using the service person that my Management company would recommend.
