John Ricci, President of Ricci Construction Group, has more than 30 years experience in building custom homes, residential developments, remodeling, and commercial projects. John is an active member of the NHBA, and the HBA. He is a lifelong resident of Cheshire Connecticut. His years of experience give him the ability to guide each prospective home buyer through the design, layout and drafting process necessary for each custom home.
Ricci Construction Group enjoys constructing custom homes. It is our specialty to work closely with each client to make sure their dreams become a reality. Our full time staff offers years of experience in many facets of custom home development from its conception to its fruition with the final designer touches.
Ricci Construction Group has a variety of remodeling packages to offer. We have had experience with everything from remodeling the 200 year old cape to adding kitchen and great room additions to newer homes. Some of our specialties are redesigns of kitchens and baths as well as changing the flow of floor plans to better suit the new living requirements and wishes of today's family.
Kitchen and Baths by A Matter of Style is the sister company to Ricci Construction Group. We elevate design, craftsmanship, and installation to a fine art. Kitchens & Baths by A Matter of Style strives to complete the perfect home design package. Ricci can get the job done with compassion and Precision. They knocked it out of the park from the roof to the basement. The work they needed to subcontract out, was done by consummate professionals that I was comfortable with. Both Johns are great to work with and there favorite word is.... “change order”...😆...
The trim work was some of the most skillful work I have seen in a long time(our house was built like a funhouse vintage 1890). These guys worked with us with patience, and can’t say enough nice things, you would be lucky to have them do work on your house....

After I posted the below review my wife was contacted by a representative of Ricci. He (apparently the original owner's son) was very anxious to ameliorate the damage. He came to the house, examined the work, suggested the problem was caused by a tile guy who is no longer with the company and gave her a check for about half of what it will cost to repair the damage. He also said he would have done the repairs himself for free if we had contacted him earlier (we hadn't). Since he made a good-faith effort to make things right I've raised my review from one star to four.
