After receiving a recommendation for Lewis Floor from a coworker I called for an estimate myself (vinyl plank). I was impressed the owner himself came to measure and has been my contact throughout. Very professional and knowledgeable and the estimate was very reasonable. Much better estimate than what Lowe’s gave me and I even added 2 more spaces to the project after Lowe’s measured. We had a small area of floor replaced after our dog decided carpet was on the menu. We ended up going with the vinyl flooring, and it is incredible! They were able to give us a quote quickly and able to send someone to do the job within a few days. Very professional and very detailed work. We will be using them in the future when we decide to upgrade our flooring!

We just finished a project that involved installation of prefinished hardwood and carpeting. From beginning to end our experience was excellent. Lewis was the only company I asked (checked 3 others in Athens area) that was willing to come to my house to do some problem solving and discuss options. We had laminate flooring installed by Lewis Co. a few years back. The only good thing I can say is that they did it in the time frame quoted.
After the initial installation we moved into the house, in the main room the flooring formed a nice 'hump' (probably 4" vertical hill). We had them come out - the flooring had been incorrectly installed without proper room left at the edges for expansion. They had someone not the original installer 'fix' that issue. Since then we have had to have the 'fixer' team out 4 or 5 times now and every time a new problem is created

From a neighbor reference, I had Lewis Flooring install hardwood flooring in our bedroom. When preparing the estimate, I stated that I wanted the floors paste waxed, not polyurethane. They stated that was not their norm, but would'nt be a problem.
Their subcontracted installers did a great job on the floor installation and stain. Lewis Flooring came out to wax and buff the floors. They arrived with an empty can of paste wax.
