We purchased a home from Curtis Skipper in 2009. We have been very pleased with his work. In addition he has responded immediately when ever we have reached out to him over the past 9 years. I would highly recommend him as a quality builder with the utmost integrity.

The owner has no regard for the neighbors at his building sites. He even tried to bully one when they reported a broken item on their property due to some construction work. He even said that the neighbor was "stupid". It was totally uncalled for!

Unlike the previous reviewer, our punch list was NOT completed to our satisfaction. We've had to hire a mason to repair our leaking master shower ($1000) and an electrician to install family room electrical outlets that Mr. Skipper promised ($125). We have a cracked kitchen cabinet that his workman damaged prior to closing-- never replaced. He did not install a sidewalk or a handrail from our first to second floor. Our house was to be a "custom" home and while the woodwork seems well done , we still find inferior products were used and poor workmanship especially in the tiling. Consequently we

Curtis Skipper built us a home on Oak Island in June 2011. We have been very pleased with all aspects of the home.
He completed our punch list in a timely fashion and to our satisfaction.
He was very easy to work with even after several changes to our plans.
