Back in 1984, in the small town of Skillman, NJ (near Princeton) Jarod Hynson started a small lawn maintenance service at the age of 13. By 1991 this company grew to become one of the elite grounds maintenance companies of Central Jersey. In 1994 the business was sold so Jarod could further his education at Messiah College, followed by several additional years of landscape field experience.

We only had one awkward spot on our property for a pool. We called Mary Dresser with Earth, Wood snd Turf because she had done outstanding landscape design for us before. She designed and facilitated an amazing pool area for our property . The quality and professionalism with which E W T completed the project was outstanding! Our pool area looks like it was always a part of our house and property. Everyone who sees it compliments it so highly and asks, of course, who did it.

Paul and his team were a pleasure to work with. They took our extensive vision and turned it into a reality far beyond our expectations. The pondless waterfall is the highlight of our backyard and the wildlife it attracts is a delight to watch. We have had many ask us about it. They worked with us on pricing on our sod and prepared a spot for our shed that complements our home renovation perfectly. They regraded our property for better water drainage, gave the perimeter of our house and backyard a fresh new look with plantings, trees and shrubs better suited to our woods environment and re-sodded

Had Mary out to provide a quote to redo a small flagstone patio with fire pit into paver patio with a fire pit instead. After a half hour of showing her what we had and her showing us color options in a book, she asked us what our budget was. Upon discussing it, she literally choked and laughed at us. Her rough rough estimate was 4 times higher than than other estimates we had received in the past. We had even paid her $100 to come out and look things over.

ET&W recently completed a significant refresh of our plantings, landscaping and outdoor patio. Mary Dresser created the design and was very involved throughout the process. She is a true professional. The rest of the ET&W team was top-notch. Art and Mark did a great job communicating with us on the project and making adjustments where necessary. This is my second experience with ET&W, again very favorable. They are not the cheapest but they are likely one of the best and that was what I was looking for. I was only doing a long (curvy) walkway in pavers but we got good advice and good work. Onsite crew was personable and careful; not sure that is a common trait. Would use them again.

What a transformation, from a yard with dirt patches and weeds to a beautiful pergola, kitchen patio and fire pit. From Mary's vision and design, to Jeremy's hard work and dedication and finally Jarod's determination to have it done before our party. Everyone was spot on and professional.
