In order to do that Dave took a job at Northstar at Tahoe for several years along with attending University of Nevada, Reno.
Dave worked on the mountain and with the maintenance department where he learned the painting trade. After a short time with a local painting contractor, Dave decided to get his Painting Contractors License in which Castle Peak Painting Co. was established in 1987. Along with Dave's wife, Paula, they have built a successful business, which includes 9 employees.

It was such a pleasure to work with Dave and Paula, they went above and beyond in helping us choose the colors for our building. They were very patient with us as we tried different samples, until we finally decided on what colors we wanted to paint the building. They kept me up to date the entire time during the paint job and always answered any questions I had.
Repeatedly, we have been extremely pleased with Castle Peak Painting's professional staff. They are always friendly and meticulous. We have trusted them with our home, even when we're out of town, and with our business. From our daughter's nursery to our deck and siding, to our entire retail building inside and out, they've done a great job at a good price every time.
