Blue Parrot Painting's owner Tim Zaerr began his painting career on the western slope of Colorado. The quality of his work was quickly recognized and his painting skills were soon in demand at the Vail and Beaver Creek resorts painting custom homes, restaurants and hotels. Tim relocated back to Boulder where he now paints all types of homes, and includes offices, restaurants and commercial buildings in his portfolio.
You get what you pay for when buying paint, so be sure your painter is using a quality product. The cost of the paint is a small portion of the job, but the costs of frequent repainting will cancel any savings earned by using the cheap stuff. Opting for quality when choosing your painter will pay off as well.
Often heard greeting the neighbors with a distinct, almost too loud, 'HI, ' Matisse talks up a storm. He can carry on one half of a phone conversation and often gives himself a stern 'NO!' when he knows he is doing something he shouldn't. He is a sweet parrot and quite gentle. Matisse's favorite foods are bananas, pizza, grapes, pecans and walnuts.

Blue Parrot Painting has painted both interior and exterior for us. They proved to be top notch painters, with attention to detail, clean lines, and no messes left behind. I have asked them to paint a few extra places and they were happy to do so at no charge. I always know I will receive a professional paint job with them!

We just bought a new house! We had 4 companies come out and give us bids for painting top to bottom and relacquering doors, molding and kitchen cabinets. From the beginning Tim's professional manner sold me and I felt confidant, comfortable and secure in my choice in Blue Parrot Painting. They showed up Monday morning and finished Friday. They exceeded my expectations 10x over. I've never seen so much care in taping, lacquering, sanding, touch up, etc. Tim certainly didn't mind a few last minute changes and add-ons either. As a small business owner there is no doubt that Tim and Blue Parrot Painting

Beware of bait and switch with daily deals. I purchased a daily deal special to paint a room for $100. The first thing that they did was measure the room and try to add $70 to the $100 I already paid even thought the total square footage to be painted was 208 sq. ft. less than the deal allowance.
I told them this was not fair and they walked of the job. We had purchased $80 in paint and cleaned the room and they just left.
Avoid this company.
