As the flagship of the Kenmore Companies family, Kenmore Construction Co. has become one of the largest and most versatile construction companies in Northeast Ohio. Kenmore Construction was chosen by the City of Akron as the Construction Manager At Risk to construct a 6.5 million gallon combined sewer overflow storage basin adjacent to the existing Rack 12 sewer outfall.

With highly skilled work crews and innovative project management, supported by an extensive fleet of equipment, Kenmore's expertise in building long stretches of multi-lane freeways and the rehabilitation of bridges over land and water is second to none. At Kenmore, we take pride and ownership in our work.

We are committed to delivering the highest standards of quality to every project because we know that our reputation is only as good as our last job. Kenmore Construction is a family owned and operated business that understands the value of relationships and how they are essential to our success.
Services
Our company history is a classic American success story with the humblest of beginnings. With nothing more than a lone pickup truck, some assorted hand tools and a few initial employees, William set out to carve a niche doing small concrete projects around the City of Akron. Relying on his tireless work ethic, extraordinary integrity and attention to detail, he laid the company's foundation for the future.
Since our inception, Safety has always been a fundamental cornerstone of our core values. Safety is the first priority on every job and we have gone to great lengths to ensure that there are no compromises when it comes to the safety of our employees and the public. Kenmore Companies is a family owned and operated business that understands the value of relationships and how they are essential to our success.
Our Co-Op program empowers hardworking, ambitious students to complement their academic studies with hands-on, real world experience. We offer a competitive wage and tailor the Co-Op experience to each intern's specific interests. Which, based on current needs of the organization, can lead to full-time employment.
Underground utilities construction including water, storm and sanitary sewer systems, has been an area that Kenmore Construction has excelled in for well over 40 years. Because of our attitude of taking on the "tougher" jobs, Kenmore is now known as one of the premier underground utilities contractors in the region.
Today, a growing number of owners are choosing the design/build model for the delivery of their construction project. Through longstanding relationships with design and construction professionals, Kenmore Construction can develop a unique collaborative designed to meet the specific needs of each design/build project.

Got to be the slowest construction company I’ve ever seen in my life!!! Unreal how long it takes them to do small jobs and don’t even get me started on the bigger jobs Amish with horse and buggy‘s could get it done faster!!!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value
They were painting a bridge on route 8 and steels corner and over sprayed my brand new 2019 vehicle and are refusing to get it fixed. What a poor representation of professionalism. Shows the contractor they truly are.

Probably the worst in Ohio according to friends at ODOT. They are terrible around manhole covers. Many onsite accidents and uneven surfaces. Their jobs are rarely completed on time. The end result is pavement that is actually worse than before the began... devastated Akrons economy

This place should be shut down. The manager is rude and so is the staff. If I could give them 0 I would. I tried to file a complaint and they gave me the run around. The receptionist, well let's just say she should be retrained. Poor customer service.

There is clearly political bribes going on to give a company contracts that fails to post detour signs. Causes fatalities on our expressways from lane pattern changes. Doesn't fill cracks where our tires ride. Constant blowouts and accidents around their shabby work. They are milking our citys economy and damaging our city. They are corrupt and Its about time the local news does an nvestigation. I am told one is coming hopefully the contracts they receive are legit. They are the burden on Akrons roads. No job takes as long as they stretch them. This dirty company is everything that's wrong with
