Hestia Construction is a woman-owned construction company specializing in design-driven home remodeling in the Philadelphia area, whose work is featured on the TV show Philly Revival on the DIY Network. The show follows host, Rachel Street, as she designs and renovates run-down or neglected homes- combining original architectural features with more modern elements to create unique designs.
Every year we choose a few homes that we feel are really special to renovate and sell. We are not your typical "flippers"- we like to find architecturally interesting properties that are run-down or abandoned, and spend extra time and resources to create exciting modern spaces that also honor the history and unique original features of the home.
As we are able, we try to help our community by doing repairs at no cost for a select number of homeowners who are financially or otherwise unable to do the repairs themselves. These are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and please understand that our ability to help depends on many factors, including schedule, budget, and the availability of the companies we partner with, however our goal is to help as many people as possible.

Rachel and her team were absolutely everything we could have hoped for. The tldr version of this review: hire Hestia-you will not regret it.
My wife and I bought our home knowing it needed some work, most of which I had planned to do myself. But when the minor plumbing leak turned out to be a major break in the plumbing waste line, our plans went down the drain too. I ended up in the market for somebody who could do some but not all of the work since I had already started some other projects and knew what I wanted to do for others, who could deliver on my (very tight) schedule, and who could

I have been involved in real estate for 30 years and have hired many contractors over that time. I can say, unequivocally, that Hestia Construction is absolutely one of the finest contractors I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. The quality of their work is excellent. They are old school--- they take pride in their work and it shows. Their pricing is very fair and they are an absolute pleasure to deal with. Rachel and her team were fantastic and I could not have been more satisfied with their work and the finished product.
My kitchen was in desperate need of repair and I called Hestia Construction for an estimate. Within days, Rachel came out for the estimate and we discussed what I was looking for. Originally, I was only going to have the floor worked on, but after evaluating the situation, I also decided to have the ceiling replaced as well.
