About three years ago, my husband and I moved to the Kinston area, and decided to build our own home. Dillard Wallace Construction was highly recommended by several people in the area, so we contacted him with our house plan. Our request was a little unusual though, because we wanted to act as our own general contractor, and we wanted to do most of the work ourselves.
