Efficiency Construction was started 20 years ago by Jeff Mobley, the current president. A family owned and operated small business with experience in construction and solar energy. Our primary objective is our customer's satisfaction. Mobley is a certified machinist and also took computer engineering at Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington as well as courses in Photovoltaics at NC State.
Mr. Cool systems are available in a range of sizes and styles - from single-zone solutions to whole-home systems there is a Mr. Cool air conditioning system to fit almost any need. With the ability to do a mix of indoor unit types, both duct-free and ducted, contractors are able to condition an entire home or light commercial project with a single outdoor unit while still installing a system that best works to for the needs of the occupants.

Jeff and his son installed a Heliodyne solar system on our house several years ago in conjunction with a TRI county EMC rebate promotion. They did a great job. Recently I had a problem with my system. I called Jeff and he diagnosed my problem, had the part shipped to my home and I installed it myself. He only charged me for the part. He could have made a 40 mile house call etc etc. A man of integrity, I highly recommend him.

We hired Efficient Construction, Inc. to replace/ enlarge an old wooden deck (15 ft X 12 ft) attached to the back of our house (located in Catherine Lake area of Onslow County). We originally requested two estimates: 1) using “imitation wood” and maintenance-free materials for the decking/railing and 2) using real wood for the decking/railing. Received the estimates within just a few days, and after getting a couple of questions answered, decided to go with the real wood. On the first day of construction, the old deck was removed and hauled away in just a couple of hours, and the new deck was
