Services
Our full service customers receive an annual service contract that includes a tune up of your heating system. This includes changing the nozzle, filter and strainer, tune up, vacuum, efficiency test and smoke test. We insure your unit is in good working order and running at maximum efficiency. We offer two Oil burner service contracts Silver (8 -4pm M-F ) or Gold.

Very disappointed that Scalafani has been taken over by Burke Oil. We have been with Sclafani well over 25 years with good service! Last week as always i placed an order for oil no oil delivered nor acknowledge of order called to find out the Maureen Sclafani is no longer with the company, my order was just sitting in the web app. Burke toke my order today for delivery tomorrow, this is not a good start for Burke, hope they entertain the prior quoted price

Have been using Sclafani for years,but the quality of service has been going downhill recently. This past winter they let my tank go dry during a cold snap even though I'm on their auto fill program, and most recently there was an issue with a potential underfill. In conversation with the rep, the rep focused on assigning blame for the issue rather than offering solutions. A better approach would have been to suggest scheduling service to check the system rather than assert that the company is without fault. Bad customer service experiences in 2021, I think I'm going to try out the other companies

I wish I could put zero stars. This company truly does not know what they are doing. They made an already frustrating situation completely terrible. They dont know what needs or does not need a permit. They schedule one thing and show up to do something different, meanwhile telling you all different things on the phone. Terrible service and I gave them multiple chances to make things right. No accountability until I told them I’m writing a review.

They're shameless. This company is willing to pull a fast one on their own "gold service plan" customers- spraying WD40 on a part that isn't covered without mentioning that it will cost you $200. Charging for "service" to fix a problem they haven't taken the time to diagnose. Find a better company.

I have been using Sclafani for many years and have never been disappointed. The staff is always courteous and when I place an order, it is always delivered within 24 hours. The prices they offer are competitive so I don't have to spend the time searching the area for the lowest price. And to tell you the truth, I'd pay a little more for the great customer service I get. I don't have to worry if they are going to deliver!

Wow. Sclafani and their great service department figured out what was wrong with my aging furnace and it's running perfectly now. It kept stopping, and even though I don't have a service contract with them, Sclafani always sent a technician promptly. One service guy in particular took the extra time to see if any further problems could be anticipated.
I'm really surprised to see all the one stars here. I just have to say if you're nice to people, they'll be nice to you. Sclafani did the best they could and I feel really appreciated just being thanked. Nice folks

Still waiting for a refund. New boiler using 4 x the amount of oil after YOUR service. Needed to get another company immediately to get it right. I guess you want to sell 4 X the normal amount of oil by running inefficient. But this one would have shut down by now and I would get charged an "emergency" call. Had soot all over the place, where everything was clean and like new! Didn't vacuum, or even change the nozzle! CROOKS! STAY AWAY!! People on phone are rude even when I was going to give them a chance to get it right. They did not want to come here on my schedule, even

We have used Sclafani for years. Reasonable prices, professional and friendly services. Budget plan works great. I never have to worry about running out of oil in the middle of the night. These incompetent crooks came to my home multiple times charged me close to $400 and never resolved my issue. Then they had the gumption to report me to collections for a $165 part they never installed .
It gets better- they mocked me by sending me a fake receipt stating that the bill was paid,
Maureen Sclafani and her organization are the most unprofessional unsavory characters I've ever dealt with.
My HVAC was repaired by a competent company to the tune of $135

I've been using Sclafani for many years. They have a fairly inexpensive oil price and then charge for the service contract. I feel this is the most fair and predictable manner to manage your heating costs.
I'm typically able to get a delivery during the late summer at a nice low cost and then another purchase around January and maybe in March.
The cleaning and servicing is done roughly on a yearly basis. The oil is apparently high quality and I rarely have an outage on either of my oil fired systems. I do manage oil levels myself and I like to buy when the price is lower if I can

This place is beyond horrible! Reps came out 4 time s and couldn't fix air conditioning issue. Kept saying it's the thermostat. We purchased 5 new thermostats and still no resolution . Then they told us we need an electrician. Election came and went and still same issue .

Do NOT even consider Sclafani Energy if you're looking for reliable and consistent heating oil delivery in Westchester County. There are much better options out there. Sclafani has proven time and again to be incapable of reliably servicing the community during the winter with their equipment and whomever you speak to at the home office makes every excuse as to why and often blames the homeowner for all the reasons why they can't reliably deliver heating oil to your home - not once taking ownership for their shortcomings and lack of dependability. This company cannot be trusted. They will sabotage your heating system and charge you for repairing it. One of their practices is to let out the air in your expansion tank damaging it; Then they charge you for a new one. They did it to me but I saw the repairman doing it and refused to pay for the new one. Later I learned that my friend had it done to him. They also mix metal fitting such as galvanize and brass causing the fitting to corrode causing water to leak and creating a flood. Stay away from them. It's too bad that I have to give them one star because they don't deserve it

I called on Monday for oil delivery, we were low as my son had been admitted to the hospital for quite some time. The woman told me it would come on Wednesday. Wednesday comes and we get a call the driver is refusing to deliver due to an extremely small piece of ice at the bottom of the driveway. I called and told them the area where there is ice is not my property and I need delivery due to my son just getting back home.
The woman just kept repeating like a robot that the drivers make the decision. No longer use this company for anything. Peoples oil has employees that care for their customers

Will never, ever do business with this establishment again. They delivered fuel that I paid for (by leaving a check on my oil pipe) to my neighbors home and refused to rectify the situation. When I telephoned the next day, the owner was extremely rude, unprofessional ( to the point of asking me my salary) and absolutely refused to accept responsibility for her firms error. I began doing business elsewhere that very day. There are many highly professional companies in the area to bring your business. Sclafani is not one of them.

I have had minor issues with Sclafani over the 2 winters that we have used them to provide Fuel Oil for our home, but they just crossed the line.
I just received an unannounced fuel oil delivery which cost me nearly $600. When I called their office, they told me that they left a message on my voicemail, but I never received a message. We double checked the phone number they said they called and it was, in fact, my cell phone. Again, no message was ever received.
