Stay away! Clement did our flooring and we decided to have the original baseboards replaced. We paid for the upgraded modern baseboards but he ended up using lower quality shorter baseboards leading to multiple slits in a single wall on the baseboards all over the house. When we brought this to his notice he first agreed to replace it with the original length baseboards but went back on his word the next day and instead just painted over it which doesn’t help much. We just basically paid him for a downgrade. Our house is filled with ugly slits all over the baseboards. Flooring service is nothing

I recently moved into my new home and wanted my carpets replaced with hardwood. After calling almost every flooring company in Austin, I decided to go with Horizen because of their excellent prices and professionalism. Be careful with Clement! He might be nice to you at first but will completely ignore your concerns after you have handed over your money. Unfortunately, I found out the hard way after doing business with this fraudster. This company is not a family owned business. No one was ever at his shop when I visited to voice my complaints. I had conversations with his installers and they revealed many negative/dishonest practices. Clement hired very inexperienced subcontractors to work on my project. Highly recommend working with this company if you're looking for great service as well as high-quality flooring and installation. Compared to other contractors and companies I've dealt with (some would ghost or have terrible customer service), Clement went above and beyond to listen to all our concerns and find solutions. I can't begin to express my DISAPPOINTMENT with this horrible company. It was a NIGHTMARE experience due to the lack of communication and terrible service overall. The installers are never on time to install the hardwood floor in my house. The work was done very quick with many mistakes. I CAN'T TRUST them ever again!

We highly recommend Horizen flooring. Clement is very patient in listening to what kind of hardwood floors we like. We shopped around a lot and finally settled with Clement as the process with him was extremely pleasant, seamless and also was able to offer a competitive price. He took care of everything from sourcing the wood to handing back our house clean and tidy. Clement and his team did an excellent job installing floors on the second story of our house. At the first appointment, he brought a couple of samples based on the preferences we gave over the phone. We then scheduled a visit to his warehouse where he has a good selection of hardwoods, luxury vinyl, and laminates. We ended up selecting laminates because we we have dogs, and we really liked a particular herringbone option that was in stock. They also had a luxury vinyl that would have worked, but unfortunately it was backordered from the supplier. We scheduled the install for a couple of weeks out

Clement provided excellent customer service and contractor pricing. For this particular job I needed 1800 ft.² vinyl plank. I had received quotes from several local vendors and then I called a wholesale company in Dallas by the name of floor barn that offered much lower price for the same product but I would have to drive up to Dallas to pick it up. The savings was over $1000 for the volume I was buying so I was prepared to go to Dallas in order to get it. Clement was able to match the price from the floor barn and get it here locally. That saved me a day and a lot of money. I will go to Horizen

Full disclosure: We did not ultimately go with Horizen because we needed other renovations and it was easier to go with a contractor that could do plumbing, cabinet work, etc.

I had a mostly very positive experience with Clement of Horizen Flooring. However there were a few detractors. Overall he was very responsive and quick to provide useful information and a good quote for the work to be done. I wanted to install glue down vinyl planks. After visiting his office a very well-kept and organized place of business, I decided instead to get thicker, sturdier click together vinyl planks.
