At Aspen Touch, we love the warm, natural look of a wood roof. When properly installed and maintained, a wood shake roof can last many decades. For our wood shake, we use only the best inland cedar which won't warp and split like cheaper coastal cedar. A slate roof is beautiful and long lasting, but authentic slate is both extremely expensive and extremely heavy.
