Mark, Santa Barbara native and owner of Best Painting Inc, has enjoyed great success since establishing his painting business in early 2001. At age nine Mark, working in his mothers antique store, was first introduced to painting. Since then he has completed thousands of projects in the Santa Barbara area and has established himself as a successful residential and commercial painting contractor.
Interior and exterior painting require very differently formulated paints. After carefully considering the surface being painted whether wood, siding, stucco or brick for exterior. Using a critical eye on each area of the interior of a property, from kitchens and bedrooms to cabinets and ceilings, our team is able to help you choose exactly what's right for you.

Mark from Best Painting and his crew gave an estimate on the repainting of our house and the staining/glossing of our kitchen cabinets. Once we approved the estimate (which was a great deal) he started the job within 2 days and finished on time! They did a great job; they made sure to pull out the fridge, stove, and the washer and dryer and paint behind those.
We would definitely use this company in the future.

Mark I never replied to your email because I no longer live in the apartment complex you were doing the work on, and Its also not worth my time. I simply don't know what else that can be done to change my experience with your work. Maybe you don't remember the job because you yourself were never there and your guys never showed up to finish the job. I appreciate you reaching out through yelp to try and make things better, but I also know that your doing this because everyone can see it. You had plenty of time when no one was watching to do the right thing.

These guys know how to paint. Perfect lines in corners, no streaks and very friendly. I had my dining room and hall painted. Ceiling throughout was painted off white. Grayish for the walls and a beautiful smoky blue for an accent wall in the dining room. The lines are perfect. I would recommend this company but give them a little extra notice before you need the work done. Thank you Mark for your help. It is appreciated.
