Core aeration is the process of removing soil cores from your lawn using a machine. Making holes in the surface of your lawn allows deeper root growth and reduces soil compaction. Overseeding follows in order to sink grass seeds deep into the lawn, giving them a better chance to take root. A lawn aerator allows air, water, and nutrients direct access to the root system.
Leaves are beautiful as they change colors in the fall. However, once they cover your lawn, they become a back-breaking menace of weekend work of raking and bagging. It only takes a few days for leaves to harm your grass, so removing leaves quickly is important for a healthy lawn. Champion has mowed my lawn for as many years as I can remember. I first started using them when I lived in the city and when I moved to Kirkwood I was fearful my new house wouldn't be in their service area, but thankfully it was! They are super reliable and I can always tell when they've cut my grass because it looks great. They have also helped me with numerous landscaping projects, which always turn out fantastic. With Champion I always know my lawn and landscaping are going to look amazing!

So my father passed away about 6 months ago. I live in St. Louis and my mom lives in imperial. We needed someone we could trust with my mother on taking care of her lawn. We went through a few law care service companies and weren't satisfied. Finally we tried Champion and couldn't be happier. They are very friendly and a great law care service.

We have gone through many lawn services over the 10 years we have lived in the city of STL. It seems they would do a nice job the first time and then consistently go down hill from there. Until we found Champion that is. They have been great from the beginning and if and when we had an issue they were on it. Definitely would recommend!

I'm retired - so I'm home most of the time. Champion mowed my yard twice - and so poorly and high I asked them to come back and lower the mower. They did not return, but sent me a bill for 6 mowings.
When I called the owner he said he was the one who mowed my lawn. And, he demanded I pay for the additional mowing
The problem is - I'm home, that only came twice and had the mower set so high the grass was over my ankles!
Said they were "AAA rated" with the BBB - unfortunately they are not members of BBB and any rating they claim is bogus.
I replaced Champion with another service - when they mow
