I had a clogged sewer line / house trap on a rental property because of roots. My property manager called them out there to take care of it, they attempted to snake it twice then tried to hydrojet it, but couldn't get past the house trap. They billed me for both snakes, $650 for the failed hydrojet, and then bid $10,500 to replace the house trap (which did not include removing and then replacing the deck, which is over the house trap).
I figured I'd get a second opinion. The second plumber was able to snake the house trap first try. He did recommend replacing the trap too, and bid $3800.

The technicians Tyler and Brendan were great. They were professional, knowledgeable and kept me apprised of everything that was being done. They hand dug a 4 1/2 ft deep hole in my living room closet to get to part of the problem. The other part of the job was outside. They were very careful not to cause any damage and the clean up was meticulous. If you want your plumbing job done right hire Matt Mertz Plumbing. You won't be sorry. I would recommend them to everyone.

I recently used Matt Mertz to diagnose, troubleshoot, and replace my home’s sewer traps and line the sewer pipe to the street. The team could not have done a better job. Everyone was friendly and well informed and the did an excellent job of scheduling and communicating with me.

Service has gone way down with Mertz. Used to be my go to for plumbing. Will not use again. Last guy came out to unclog basement drain, which I thought was the problem. Didn't alleviate the problem, wouldn't run a camera (as he stated they are expensive to use,) thought I was paying for a service? Sewage smell still exists in basement, wanted to charge me again to come back out, when first visit didn't fix the problem.

Called Matt Mertz Plumbing for a basement drain that was clogged. They promised same day service but had about a 6-7 hour window to arrive. I expected that to mean i'd be waiting 6 or 7 hours, but was pleasantly surprised to have a plumber arrive within 3 hours. He was efficient and professional. Cleaned up after himself and even went way beyond cleaning up a drain mess i had made in the nearby sink, which wasn't necessary to do for the repair. I can't recommend strongly enough and I will be using Matt Mertz Plumbing for any other needs I may have.

These guys are Great! Very nice and professional. They listen to you and look at all what is needed. They get things done quickly. They did my drain in the laundry and garage, drain pipe and sewer line. They left my areas very clean. They made sure my sewer was done right and finished with upgraded applications. The price was great for the work they did. I am so grateful. I will definitely be using them again.

These guys are the best in the area price wise, time wise and work quality wise. I have used them 3-4 times now and find the reasonable. A guy name Jim who works here is wonderful.
They installed water heater and very reasonable cost like 50% lower, the only other company comparable was Mr Water heater but they just do water heaters and not plumbing
They repaired a leak in kitchen sink drain pipe which was not easily accessible and was leaking in garage due to corrosion, other competing companies were charging me arm and leg.

I contact Matt Mertz Plumbing late afternoon and they were able to get a team out the next day to replace a hot water heater. Their price was very fair, customer service fast/clear and the team themselves were two of the most polite/professional service techs I have dealt with. They followed COVID precautions and were in and out quickly after explaining the new system and even addressed a rusted out valve there as well. Thank you! Can't recommend enough.
