J & S Richardson Construction is a successful family owned and operated general contracting company founded in Pennsylvania during the 1980s. A family vacation to explore the beautiful San Juan Mountain region in 1993 left an overwhelming impression and six years later we found ourselves moving to the western slope.

Services
This was our first project in Telluride in 1999. We were very ambitious we did the foundation, the framing, window install, siding, wood floor, all the trim work and doors, and build all the cabinetry onsite. The owner of one of the neighboring lots liked our work so much they hired us to build their custom home.
After a thorough process, we chose to entrust Richardson Construction with the full remodel of our dream home in Telluride. The renovation was a "down to the studs" rebuild of a house with great bones but a very dated interior and layout. James, Sinny, and Christian were on site and engaged every day of the remodel and demonstrated remarkable responsiveness throughout the process, solving many challenges in real time.
