The entire team at Groth-Gates has been fantastic to work with during our home remodeling and repair in Lincoln City. They worked collaboratively with us and other contractors to coordinate work on chimney repair and fireplace installations, remove existing/install new natural gas lines, fix duct work, and ensure the work they performed was high quality and met local permit requirements.

Critical: Professionalism
Haven't used their service and never will. We watched them cut in front of a big line of people waiting to get in the drive through at Arctic Circle. When you are driving the van, you are a representative of the company. Rude and entitled! Everyone is busy and right now, we need people to be kind and respectful more than ever.

We experienced a situation where a ductless heat pump manufacturer didn't stand behind their product. The same parts failed four times within the warranty, and our warranty will be over after this replacement. Each time we were still responsible for the labor costs of the replacement. We upgraded to the heat pump for annual energy savings, which have in part been erased by the yearly replacement costs. Groth Gates listened to us, understood, and agreed with our assessment that such an unusual situation would merit a replacement. With a rarity like this for a manufacturer, it seems like a no-brainer

Great company, came to beach for weekend and furnace didnt work. Sent repairman out same day.He fixed what he could but vent needed cleaning and it was after dark. Got a call first thing in the next morning and had repairman out to clean the vents within the hour. Very pleasant, professional and experienced people. They will always be first on my list to call. Groth-Gates is the best! We have a vacation home in Salishan and the living room gas fireplace was not working. We made a mistake and first called Robben Heating who made more than 5 trips in about a year and each time they diagnosed the problem with some expensive faulty part but each time when the part got installed, it still did not work. We had to wait weeks for each part to come in and then pay for their time to come back because they would not take responsibility for their misdiagnosis.
