Don started out in construction working for several custom home builders in West Virginia where he grew up. This gave him experience in all phases of home construction. If you are looking for a full service commercial or residential construction company in the Maryland, Washington, D.C., or Fairfax County, Virginia region, we'd love to have the opportunity to learn about your construction project and give you a free quote.
At Hartman Construction company, we prefer Design Build solutions for home additions, kitchens and bathrooms. That means that we provide free upfront design and ideas for the complete project. Then we can provide architectural plans and permits to meet the local county codes and do the job from start to finish 100%.
Most of our commercial jobs involve the remodeling of an existing space. We find great enjoyment working with a customer who wants to move walls around or enlarge offices while not disrupting the daily normal work flow. This sometimes means much work on our part after regular business hours in order to get the job completed.
Over the past 40 years, we have completed the interior build out of many pre-engineered steel building structures (PEB) in the Maryland/Virginia/DC region. For several years, we have been local builders/distributors for pre-engineered all steel building products. We are currently local distributors for Corle Building Systems and CECO Buildings.

Unprofessional behavior from the owner. Sends emails and if he doesn’t get a response immediately, sends snarky emails after the fact unaware that people apparently are dealing with multiple things on a daily basis. Would not recommend as I’ve never experienced behavior like this when dealing with a contractor.
