In 1948, with Vincent's keen insight and determination to keep pace with an evolving construction industry, he formed V.A. Spatz Excavating and Paving. The company specialized in all facets of site work that included utility installation, road construction and paving. Vincent's sons were active in every aspect of the company and took over the business upon Vincent's death in 1982.
From land clearing to excavation and grading, installation of underground utility systems, hazardous waste management to surface finishing, VA Spatz is a full service heavy site construction company. We have the ability to move massive amounts of earth - turn the property to its target grade - while capping contaminated soil in strict compliance with Federal and State regulations.
We offer expertise and full service installation of Underground Utilities including Sanitary Sewers - septic systems, treatment facilities, pump stations and piping systems; Storm Sewers - detention basins, storm water filter units, piping, inlet structures, water quality structures; Water Systems - water and fire main, meter vaults & hot boxes.
