I am very impressed with J.S. Excel Flooring, Inc. They were very accommodating with my installation date request timeline, not to mention having the exact carpet I needed in stock. The install team was on-time, very professional, and super fast. They were here less than 30 minutes for a 200 sqft carpet tear-out and install. Highly recommended!

John and his team did excellent work. His staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and helped me with the best options for my needs. Installation was timely and professional and the price was lower than the other quotes I got from other stores including the big box stores. Shop local when you can.

Seemed very helpful to get the sale of hardwood for our new kitchen. When I went to place order she could not give me an install date due to COVID-19. OK I understand, so I went to an independent installer (Michael Abbazia - who did an excellent job with installation) and thought I would be nice and order the product from J.S. since they helped me find the flooring. Crazy pickup place for the product and had to pick it up myself. REALLY disappointing that they will not take back a carton of flooring after 30 days. I picked it up on May 28th and today is May 27th. Give me a break! Happy to pay the

I had installed Hallmark Ventura Seaside Oak hardwoods throughout my home and also Travertino Grigio tile in bathrooms, entryway and around my fireplace. From start to finish the entire team at Excel Flooring went above and beyond. Starting in their showroom picking out various options, working with my paint colors they created a perfect match for what I was looking for. The install team was very professional, neat, and clean. I couldn’t be happier with the overall experience, thank you again Excel Flooring. 5 stars

This is my second time using Excel. First time I used them for great room and today I just had 2 bedrooms and downstairs office done by them. I’ll save you a lot of work. They are cheapest on hardwood floor prices in Rochester. A lot of stores carry same brands so I asked around before choosing them again. They were quoting me cheapest prices on both the wood and labor!

One of the worst customer service I have ever received from a business. The lady who is in the store is a waste of a time for everything you need to talk to the owner. Owner is not accessible and does not provide a phone number. Store is open only from 10-5pm. The lady mentioned to me "We do not chase for customers and we do business only with the customers who take the initiative" Are you serious in this day and age? I called nearly everyday to get a proper estimate and provide the business. I can only imagine how the after service would be from a company like this stay away from this business

I definitely recommend J.S. Excel Flooring. They provided us with outstanding service during the initial search for the right type of floor for our house, lending us big samples to take home to help us decide. No rush to return samples, no limit on quantity of samples, again excellent service.
The job was completed in only one day for the entire first floor of the house, which meant no disruption for the family. The installation crew was polite, energetic, accommodating, and super knowledgeable of what they were doing. This is 100% quality work.
