My name is Bruce Burge. My family and I have lived in the Gulf Shores/ Orange Beach area for the last 19 years. I have been plumbing for 16 years and a master plumber for 13. When I started Bruce's Plumbing, my mission is to deliver the highest quality workmanship and make sure that customers are satisfied.
Grinder Pumps are an expensive piece of equipment that is necessary for a home to properly function. To ensure the longevity of a grinder pump motor, proper maintenance is recommended. Bruce's Plumbing is now offering a service to maintenance grinder pumps. This service includes the following procedures: vacuum out the station, hydro-jet the sewer to the house, and clean all internal parts of the basin.
Remodeling could not be easier and we are here to help you with all of your remodel needs. From kitchen counter tops to bathroom sinks, Bruce's Plumbing offers a wide variety of remodeling services. If you are not on a grinder pump and your sewer main is not working then we will come and clear it with a sewer cable machine. Tree and shrub roots may grow into the pipe in search of water, rupturing or clogging the line. If your sewer is backed up, we can take care of your problem. Depending on the issue, we can either use a sewer cable or we can perform a sewer camera inspection which starts at $300.00.

I called Bruce's and explained my issue and txted photos so they had a good idea of the scope of the job. The tech arrived and we looked at the job and he quoted me an hour labor and about $25.00 in parts. $175.00. He ascertained he had the parts in his truck and I left for work. Got a bill for $278.66. The office manager's logic was, "well we solved your problem didn't we." A quote is a quote and there wasn't an hour's worth of labor in that job, nor $75.00 in parts.

James at Bruce's Plumbing was impressive. He removed and replaced a leaking 17 year-old rusty electric hot water heater. I would think that would be a rather dirty, messy, and frustrating job. But his work was expedient, meticulous, glitch-free, and very clean. When done, the area looked totally undisturbed. Yes, very impressive.
