Kelly Roofing

This is a follow-up to my earlier review. I had gutter guards installed at the same time I had the roof puncture repaired from a falling tree. One of the guards had bowed up a little and on the other side of the house, downspout was clogged. I didn't realize the clogged down spout until we got our first rain seven months later.

I enjoyed working with Ryan. I had some specific needs concerning critter control and managing moss build up. He executed a quality installation with attention to detail. All done within the timelines promised. I would certainly recommend Kelly roofing to others.

We have a family cabin in Long Barn which needed a new roof. I had 3 local contractors give me a quote and while all 3 were knowledgeable and the prices competitive, Ryan Kelly just had that something that made me decide I wanted him to do the job. All other companies try to sale me more then I needed, Kelly Roofing give me a honest estimate and did a fantastic job, could not have been happier, the crew and owner where friendly and took the time to answer all my question.

Everything working with Kelly Roofing was great! From start to finish Kelly Roofing was in complete contact with us. Ryan took care of all inspections and the county. When we decided it was time for a new roof we called a few roofing companies out of the yellow pages. Some never showed up & a couple showed up & said 'I'll get back to you' but never did. Needed a Roof bad, winter was here! We could not get a contractor to do our home! They were all booked , Then we met Ryan Kelly! By far the most professional company I’ve dealt with in my 45 yrs of construction.Very respectfull towards your property , Which made us comfortable during the time it took to complete the job. Last year I was advised that I needed a new roof as the roof started leaking at the chimney. Six different companies all gave me quotes from $12,000 to $22,000. Because of the delay in contractor's schedules I found Kelly's Roofing who was quicker and squeezed me into their tight schedule. My problem? Not the roof but the chimney itself, which I did not need (I have a propane fireplace). I was advised that I did not need a new roof and that I am good for another five years! Woohoo! I paid my deposit and a start date was agreed upon. However, I was continually put off for close to a month. Each time we would correspond I was told that an emergency job came up, or another job had come up. I finally told Ryan no more. It was time to do my job as he had agreed. He could put another job off, I had waited long enough. His response was to refuse to do the work. He said he would be returning my deposit. Well at the writing it's been 2 weeks and I still have not received my deposit back. And yes, he did cash the check.

We needed a new roof because our roof was failing after only 12yrs and were in the process of getting solar. I called 4 different roofers. Kelly roofing was the 1st to respond and the 1st to come out and give me a estimate. It took almost two months to get estimates from competitors. Ryan was very professional and friendly. They showed up on time, communicated very well with us and did the job in 3 days. Yard was clean of roofing material everyday they were on site. The roof came out beautiful.

I cannot say enough praises for Ryan. He was the only roofer to call me back on the phone. He is a great guy. Came over the next day during the storms and patched my leak. When I have my roof replaced I will give him my business! Thank you Ryan

We contacted Ryan about our old raggedy roof on our home in Copperopolis. Even though he was extremely busy, he agreed to come look and give us a quote. His quote was in the middle of all the quotes we got, but he had the best reviews so we chose him. He said he could squeeze us in sometime in the next couple months but did not know when. We waited for him, not sure why, just had a feeling he was our guy. Well, we are very happy we did. He kept us informed and sent us pictures of his daily progress and did an excellent job. The roof looks 100% better. He even fixed and cleaned the gutters. Awesome
