We had Merick complete our basement over the past month and we could not be happier with the result. Matt was so flexible with our timing and was always available for a call/text when we had questions. Matt and his team were extremely professional and really fun to work with. Our basement was totally transformed and we can't recommend Merick enough! We'll definitely be using Matt's services again in the future.

We used Merick Construction to remodel our home and had nothing but a positive experience with them. We hired them to complete a master bathroom remodel. We wanted to hire someone because we wanted it done fast and wanted it to look professional. In the end it took a long time and looks like we did it ourselves. We gave them the first check in October 2019; the work was started in January 2020 and was mostly finished in March, but they kept having to come back to fix stuff and then a tile backorder issue delayed one of the fixes so the project wasn’t completely finished until this summer.
Communication was very poor from the company, and they didn’t seem to care much about the finished quality

Matt was super helpful when my husband and I approached him at the booth at the Home & Remodeling show in Minneapolis. He wasn't pushy at all and offered great advice to us to help us get great ideas about remodeling our basement. They had a very nice display of beautiful flooring and wall coverings. He explained how we could do it ourselves, which surprised me. We really appreciated it and are very excited to get started! If in the future we have a project bigger than we could tackle, we will call this company!

Every time I go to my basement. It seems like another part of the job that was done by this company breaks or wasn't installed properly.
1.) The downstairs railing.
2.) The Sliding closet door.
3.) The Clothing rod and braces.
And a lot more. Everything is just not installed correctly. I don't do this type of work however I know I could have done a better job then this. Everything that was done except for the mitigation and the painting is falling apart. I'm so disappointed in this work. I hate the fact that I gave them my money. Ugh
Please NO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY. They didn't care about
