Our Monair roof, which my dad purchased 35 years ago, required decking (CDX plywood and waterproof underlayment) before solar panels (PV) could be installed. Monair tiles are supposed to last a lifetime (I've got a couple more decades to go) and were still in good condition (the tiles that is). I was told that it was time-consuming and labor-intensive to take the tiles off and put them back after the decking was installed. Plus, there would a height gap because the decking would put the new tiles higher than the old ones. Alternatives were to put shingles on the entire roof (about $34,000

Very disappointed with the job these guys did. Initially, I felt very comfortable when talking to them, but final delivery was less then ideal.
They re-roofed my entire house, so it took almost a week to finish. I was expecting a walk through after everything was complete, but I got no call after completion and had to assume everything was done. When going on the roof, here are a couple things I noticed:
(1) old roofing material all through out the gutters
(2) 75% of my gutter clips were all broken
(3) lots of loose nails throughout the yard, gutters and roof
(4) rusty razor blade laying on

I would never recommend this company to anyone. For one, their customer skills need a major improvement. They showed up to our appointment extremely late and no apology. The roofing work they've done to my house in Mililani was terrible. I eventually had to hire another roofing company to correct all the mess this company made. I called back to ask for concessions but the owner Johnny straight up said "nope!". I will give "zero star" if i could for this review. Just terrible terrible experience.
