Most hardwood floors don't need to be completely refinished and stripped down to bare wood. At well over half the cost of a full hardwood floor refinish, our Buff and Recoat service is 100% dustless and walkable in 3 hours! First, one of our floor craftsman begin the process by prepping the floor with a special formulated product that guarantees adhesion with the existing finish.
Give us a call! We'll come out to your home and inspect your floor, take measurements and educate you on the different options available to bring your floors back to life! When we arrive to get started there's a list of things we do before sanding including, floor prep, house prep, shoe removal, carpet removal and any floor repair or patching needed.
Keep in mind we are super busy so try to give us 2 weeks notice when scheduling. If you are calling about a last minute or rushed project we will do our best to fit you in! In some cases and for some families with particular time needs, we can pull off a floor in one day. But call first if you need that and we'll see what we can do to help! *We need your flexibility.
No Water: Don't let water sit on your floor as it will eat away at your finish. Use a microfiber wood floor mop head, rinse in water and ring out well for a light damp mop. Your floor will look beautiful and can stay beautiful for a very long time but don't let it get too thin. Every environment is different from dogs to kids to kitchens and chickens.

Don't use this company! Dishonest I paid $7,000 for my hardwood for my hardwood floors to be finished with a gel coating that was suppose to be guaranteed for lifetime scratchless finish according to them. It was two years ago and my floors are all scratched up again. Called an attorney today! I will be taking action against this company and posting the outcome on social media!

We didn't actually use Brilliance for a job but I wanted to comment on the owner's honesty and willingness to discuss our options outside hiring him. He took the time to explain why our engineered wood floors weren't a candidate for refinishing. What he said made perfect sense. We'll be calling him in the future when we decide to replace the flooring.

Great experience working with Brilliance on a floor refinish.
The quality of work that was done was excellent. We could not be happier with the finished product. They showed up on time and finished on schedule. Cost was very competitive - they actually beat the insurance estimate by 10%.
Beyond this, the best part was the responsiveness by them in handling questions and taking care of any problems that arose during the job (there always are some unavoidable hiccups during a job and they did a great job of managing those).
I would highly recommend these guys and would absolutely use them again

Jorge and the entire flooring team from Brilliance did an outstanding job in our home which is rather large.
Solid & positive communications from the "Front Office" starting with the owner Ben along with Jen handling many of our additional needs (movers, materials, etc...,) gave "comfort" to our experience we had made the "right decision" in picking a flooring company...and we did!

We had Brilliance come out to give us an estimate to install wood in a couple rooms and refinish our entire home from the 1920’s in Franklin. Ben showed up and was really great to talk with. He showed us a couple concern spots where the wood was spongy that the two other companies didn’t point out. We decided to go with them and they completely restored these floors to look absolutely amazing. The crew showed up on time and were very efficient. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend them!

We could not be more pleased with the floors done by Ben and his team at Brilliance. We have been working on a home from 1965 that needed a complete remodel. It's been a year long project with several delays and headaches along the way. After all this It was refreshing to deal with a company like Brilliance. From the start Ben and his team were very timely, professional, and courteous. Ben told me of issues we might run into and was very up front. As they ran into issues during the job it was communicated immediately. We had a bad spot of water damage in one bedroom and today you would never know

Brilliance Flooring replaced almost 1000 sf of carpet/vinyl/engineered wood with pre-finished solid hardwood flooring. Upon recommendation from Nash Painting and after reading reviews on Google, I decided to schedule an in-home estimate. Ben came over within a couple of days to inspect the existing flooring and his price was pretty much in line with a few other companies I had already received estimates from. I decided to go with Ben that day because of his professionalism, expertise, and customer focused attitude. His crew was great. They were on time and, to my surprise, finished the job faster

I'd combed the web for reviews and asked several friends for a recommendation for a good company to refinish the original hardwood floors in my small 1950's house. Everyone I asked told me not to use the companies they had hired. They all had horror stories of unreliable and sloppy workers who took weeks to finish the work properly.
I had a couple bids and then my friend Val, of Valerie M Designs in Nashville, suggested I call Ben at Brilliance Flooring. I was sold after our first meeting, he was so nice and pointed out lots of details I'd overlooked in my floors, but was also very respectful

Brilliance Flooring was a joy to work with. I recently removed a wall from my 1950s home and they patched the floor for much less than their competitors. The new wood was weaved into the existing, blending it right in with the old. Ben and Nick then sanded, stained, and refinished the hardwood floors throughout the house. I was in between a few different colors but Brilliance Flooring was more than happy to show me a few different options on my floors the day they stained. I would highly recommend Ben and his team over any of the larger companies advertising 20+ years of experience!
