One of their techs, Boyd, came out in July to give me a bid on installing a couple mini split systems in our house. Never heard back. 2 or 3 weeks later I emailed, no response then talked to an irritated admin and no response. I know summer is the busy season but wasting people's time then ignoring them is no way to deal with customers.

Called on a Monday morning, left a message, no call back. Waited until Wednesday called again, left a message. They called back after I had already found someone else (who is going to squeeze me in because they know nobody should be without heat in November in Colorado). When they did call back, they said they "didn't get the message" in a tone that insinuated it was my fault.

Our AC system went down and we chose Arapahoe because they could get us scheduled the soonest. Our technician Taylor came out today and was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. He also wore a mask and maintained appropriate social distancing. He was able to quickly resolve our issue and get the AC up and rolling again in no time. Thanks Taylor and Arapahoe Heating!

My initial experience was fantastic. Recently the company understandably canceled my work due to weather. Was told they would call to reschedule, but they didn’t. When I called back they told me they’d call me back. They didn’t. When I got someone on the phone they told me they had a big job and maybe could do it next week. When I asked to speak to manager to try and advance the work, manager said they could do nothing. I suggested they could have called me back. I tried to explain they had made a mistake in not rescheduling me right after it happened, but manager would not let me speak.

I asked for bids from half the plumbers on yelp on a Saturday morning. Arapahoe was on the phone literally five minutes later. They came out and had my hot water heater back in working order by 8 am. I sort of picked them because they could come quickly but later when reading all the other companies who msg'd me, turns out I'd picked the most reasonably priced as well. Highly recommend.

I called this company to get a price on a hot water heater after my normal plumber gave me what I thought was a high price. The price Arapahoe quoted on the phone was very fair. Upon arriving they suggested several options they could do at an estimated cost of $180. That would have brought my total to just under $2,000. Their actual bill, after a discount when I complained about the pricing discrepancy, was still over $250 higher than my revised quote. The guys who installed the hot water heater were extremely nice and careful which I appreciated. But I can not accept their billing practice. I

We recently had a failure of our 45 year old boiler and Boyd was to the rescue immediately after a phone call to Arapahoe. Problem fixed within 48 hours. New boiler is working fine, and looks impressively robust.
One issue is the company is secretive about costs, stating "It is against company policy to send individual prices of every piece of material we used on a bid job." I was not aware we had a bid job. The service and the install were fine, but I will say the price was at the high end of what we could find online by thousands (+$4K) of dollars. It was certainly a difficult install

I have used Arapahoe Heating Service, Inc for the replacement of my central AC unit and furnace at my home. I have known Boyd and Leann since middle school and trust their company with all of my HVAC work. Wes and Taylor have done my installs and have done fantastic work. When they are done you would not know that they had been there - the clean up materials, sweep, etc. when they get ready to go. They explain warranties and registration processes so that you're covered. I have no hesitation in recommending Arapahoe Heating Service for all of your HVAC needs.

Boyd was great. He was easy to understand and to talk to. He also provided his cell number, which was handy, as I initially couldn't reach anything but a company answering machine for 3 hours. He was receptive to troubleshooting on the phone, and his proposed rates, for possibly needing to stop by, seemed reasonable.
(The pilot light went out our water heater/tank, which most likely is due to wind. The trick was to hold down the ignitor longer and to lay on the ground, to peer through the viewing windo-- with my head to the right so that I could view the spark (and then lit pilot light)
